The location was a bit further out from Gothenburg then anticipated, but was so lovely. Forests, lake, cabins all beautiful and so serene and peaceful.

The hotel is a bit worn around the edges in the rooms themselves, but the public spaces are nice.
Saturday buffet with all the vegetarian options was very welcome to my traveling companion (and, being honest, to me as well - too many days with not enough vegetables).
Lovely breakfast spread - we had a few items on way to catch our flight. “To Go” bags for early flights would be welcome; however, we were able to enjoy it even with what little time we had.

Beautiful, modern, spacious, and quiet place outside of Gothenburg. Good WiFi, all kitchen utensils, and comfortable beds. About 15-20 minutes drive to downtown Gothenburg. Would definitely stay there again.

Eskilsby is a beautiful location, easy to drive to and we were blessed with dry sunny weather. We popped into the Feskekorka in the city and had lunch at Kujatan restaurant. The shellfish and salmon were very fresh and delicious. We enjoyed a Swedish fika in the afternoon after a stroll down Haga Nygata, a village within the city. We went on a day out to the southern archipelago and had a walk around. It was the Easter weekend so sadly the Fiskeboa restaurant on the island of Vrango was closed. The well-stocked mini market saved the day as we were able to buy food for a picnic lunch and ate by the sea, which turned out even better! The scenery was breathtaking. On our last day we went to the Botanical Garden which is another beautiful venue to visit. We took a picnic lunch and chilled out in the green in the centre of the park. We had a lovely short break and would love to visit again, probably longer next time.
