What a nice town to visit - in the summer.
What a nice town to visit - in the summer. Now it was dark and cold. Plenty of good quality restaurants available but in November everything is in a semi-sleeping mode. We should come back in summer and Falkenberg at its best !

Beautiful and small town for a weekend visit with nice attractions. Falkenberg has a long beach; Skrea Strand and it is a perfect place when the weather is sunny and warm. The Centrum in the city is very nice with a lot of restaurants. Skrea beach is a good place for walking and relaxing. If you want to swim, it is a perfect place since water is not deep and not many waves in the sea. Also, Tullbron Bridge , Doktor Promenade(walk along the river) and Vallarana park area are must see. The shore and promenade along the River Ätran is very good for walking and sight-seeing. The old town area is beautiful. Many parks in the center of the city. A perfect town for cycling since most of the attractions can be easily reached by Bicycle. Outside the town, Yngereds kraftverk (Yngeredsforsen - Döda fallet) is worth visiting if you have Car. Also try to Visit Gekas Ullared shopping center if you are staying for more than one or two days.Traveller-swedenSweden

If one pays 350$/night, the place should adhere to the certain standards of service. Poor manager was doing everything she could to fix the mess. I am so thankful to her for all her efforts to save our vacation. That is the only reason why I am not giving this place a negative mark.
