Contactless check-in was great. Very useful when traveling a longer distance and you are unsure when you will get to your destination. Breakfast was already packaged in the fridge which is also very handy if you need to leave super early. Bed was very comfortable. A free parking is also a great benefit.

It was all in all a perfect experience. The owners were super nice and welcomed us with selfmade sandwiches and tea. They were absolutly heartwarming and offered us to use their bicycles to go to the lake and experience the beautiful nature there. The location was super clean and cozy. Everything you would need at home is provided and the Owners are so friendly. They also gave us selfmade Kanelbullar and offered a ride to the Trainstation for the way back home. WE ABSOLUTLY RECOMMEND IT! And thank you so much for the beautiful stay in a stunning location in beautiful nature!

Clean site, and we had a nice view on the lake from our cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with all the Basics. We really enjoyed our stay here :)

The location is perfect if you are travelling by car. Plenty of free parking in the area. The building was the barracs built for the soldiers of the Infantry regiment I2 when they were moved from Karlstad to the Artillery A9 location in Kristinehamn to form the Brigade of Värmland. And here lies part of the appeal to me, as I did my mandatory militsry service at A9. The interior still bears a close resemblance to when the buildings were used by the military. There is still essy accesd to the military training grounds with tracks for running on the woods behind the buildings. The archipelsgo area close by is worth a visit, if nothing else to wstch the statue made by Picasso. This is a hostel. Do not expect hotel standard snd en-suite bathrooms
