Everything. The location, a few blocks away from the Walking Street but quiet and calm. Close to 7-11, amazing local restaurants nearby, scooter rentals and laundry service 5 min walking. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice (omelette, coffee and juice, cereals, toast with jam). The room was small but clean. Cleaning service + water bottle everyday.

The room was nice, the staff were super friendly and helpful, my wife was sick and they helped us. We wanted to book one more night in the same room because she couldn't get out of bed and they promoted the people who booked our room the next night so we could stay there.

We love Pai, it has a lot of back packers there who seem to love Tubing, we just enjoy the quite time spent there. We always stay at The Quarter which has a great pool, decent breakfast and is very close to walking street. Night time it gets busy with lots of people around walking the street and eating from the many food stalls in the walking street. There is also an abundance of wonderful authentic Northern Thai restaurants that are cheap. Not a fan of the constant smell of 'weed' everywhere you go, but it is a small price to pay for a nice stay. I would not stay more than 2-3 nights. The trip up there is around 3-3.5 hours and we have given away with the buses as I think they are too dangerous with the winding roads and people who overtake on corners. We hired a driver from Chiang Mai and the round trip in a very comfortable electric car was 3,300BHT, well worth it.

For younger backpacker how wants to make party it is right area. When you want to make Expedition this area is not so nice. You can make pai canyon, visit big cave and big buddha bit i think thats it. No grab so most time you need Scooter and most people in europe have no motorbike licence and without that you should not Drive because when you have a accident no insirance and then you have a big Problem. I think i don't come again...
Every evening night market with very very much young people much also alcoholism and smoke drugs..
I don't enjoy Pai

Lovely little village with plenty of dining options.
Lovely little village with plenty of dining options. It’s a little hippyish but really lovely vibe. A few late night bars if you want to party but a lot of restaurants close around 11. Lots of street food available partly to fuel the munchies with lots of canabis shops. Found a great Italian wine bar ( witching well) as well as great Thai restaurants. The walking street can be covered in about 20 minutes and feels very safe and comfortable. Plenty of small hotels to walk into and book a room as well. The journey from chaing mai takes about 3 hours and the last two hours are on steep winding roads so don’t skimp on your transport and go with a private driver for comfort or ask your hotel to arrange. It should be around 3,000 bht each way (€75)

Pai is a small town with lots of restaurants.
Pai is a small town with lots of restaurants. We stayed a day here as part of our 4 days MHS loop and so not able to fully enjoy Pai.
We missed out on Sai Ngam and so visited Tha Pai Hot spring on our way back to Chiangmai. Many level of hotness in a natural environment, stones in the pool make walking a bit difficult. We settled on pool at 33 degree - just 5 of us in the pool so is not crowded. Spent about an hour here. Initially the water felt too hot, but we got used to it after a while. Clean toilet & shower with hot water, facility is adequate. We got bitten quite a bit - itchy after a couple of hours even after we reached home.
The white Buddha up the hill is beautiful, many steps to the top - you are rewarded with beautiful sunset & 360 view of the surrounding. Kind of hot up there while waiting for sunset.

I stayed in Pai at Peace of Love for five months; I'm a retired perpetual tourist. Pai really helped me recover from the setbacks of COVID. It is a touristy town, but with palpable chill and super sweet people. Food and beverages were Uber good and cheapest in Thailand, I think. I certainly look forward to another visit if life permits. Loved the two sweet ladies at Joy's restaurant who showered me with good food and gracious service. I also love Papa at Papa's Peddles who rented me a good bike for a dollar per day. Peace of Love and Pai worked wonderfully for me.

A small town in a mountainous area surrounded by an amazing landscape and you can walk in the area for several days and enjoy all the surrounding green nature, recommended for couples and less for families with children mainly because of the long drive from Chiang Mai on a very winding road that is difficult for children to accommodate.
We loved this hotel and actually ended up extending for an additional 3 nights.
When viewing the photos I wasn't sure if it would be a little too rustic but the design is really lovely.
We stayed in an AC room with comfy beds and a hot, good shower.
A lovely little balcony to relax on out the front with views of the river. This hotel is in a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby as well as walking street a short walk away.
Staff friendly and attentive, all in all great value for money!
This hotel is absolutely wonderful, the staff were all extremely helpful and kind. Considering the current issues faced with the covid-19 pandemic we were pleasantly surprised by how well maintained the hotel was, even while likely operating with a much reduced staff. The pool is stunning, the rooms were lovely and comfortable. Perhaps the best part was the shower! I think the first time I've had a properly got shower in Thailand, and I live here!
One of my favourite places in my whole trip in Thailand!!
All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and make you feel totally at home.
You can rent scooters from the property which is great as it is too far to walk into the main town.
The pool was lovely and cool as well and the breakfast every morning was delicious 😊
Thank you so much to Noi and her whole family / team, you guys are wonderful!
Amazing units with great view. Loved sitting in the hammock and relax at dusk.
The hosts are lovely and will make you feel home as soon as you check in.
We arrived a bit early for check in (11am) and they kindly let us access our room.
From far our best accommodation during our stay in Thaïland
Great breakfast too! Walking distance to the main street. The list is long.. just stay there! :)
I extended my stay multiple times here.
Its clean!
Bed is comfortable.
Location is 7-8 mins walk to walking street.
There is a yard for fresh air.
Parking inside.
Owner is super cool.
Owner also allowed me to change my dates and arrive 1 day earlier without a problem.
There is a good all you can eat restaurant 200m down the road from the hotel.
This was the highlight of our trip. Staying at this resort was a pleasure. The host is super friendly, helpful, and the nicest people that I met in Thailand. The price is very cheap. If you want get some fresh air, back to nature, this is a must place to stay. The Thanos dog is supeeerrr cute. I will definitely comeback next time I visit Pai
Small cozy hotel where you feel at home right away. It is just a block behind the Walking Street of Pai so you walk easily to all the restaurants and shops.
The room has a good size and lots of woodwork. Bathroom is spacious.
Breakfast is excellent, good choices and delicious coffee.
The young ladies working there are kind and helpful.
Rooms are clean and very comfortable, well laid out

We extended our stay and stayed in the superior room which I would recommend very big and spacious
Have been in Thailand 2 months and this was our favourite room at a great price
Teas coffee hair dryer working tv with English channels and film apps
The beauty of the hotel is outstanding. Romantic and perfect for a honeymoon. Far from all the noise and yet very close. A nice driver took us from the hotel to the main street whenever we needed. The welcome was great and kind. Every time we asked for something extra it was taken care of quickly.
One of the best hostels I have stayed at in Thailand. Loved how the hostel is run by travelers and volunteers, and that they organize so many things you can do - especially recommend the free yoga in the morning the the dance workshops. It’s just a good place to stay and chill, for a while.
Great location just 5 mins walk across a bamboo bridge into Pai, walking st and bars/restaurants.
Located on the sunniest side of the river.
Small complex. Clean
Attentive staff
Firm bed, as with most of Thailand!
This is the best place to stay in Pai! Amazing location and views. The staff are very helpful with anything you need and the rooms are super clean, this was the best place I stayed on my 2 month trip to Thailand!
The hotel is located in a calm and quiet part of Pai. The owner of the place is a lovely lady who is always there to help. She'll make you feel like you are at grandma's countryside house.
The host prepared food for us afer we came back from our trip it was the best food i've eaten since i came to thailand.
She also helped me when my phone was broken. great person!
