We loved everything about Hale Nonno. It was the perfect size for the two of us and was very comfortable. The landscaping was absolutely amazing and really provided us with the perfect peaceful Hawaiian stay.

Easy check in. Good communication by host. I fealt very safe staying at this property. Nice private deck to sit out on expanded the space a bit to seem less cramped.

This place was great for the price and the host was super friendly. He also doesn't charge all the extra fees that everyone else does. If we knew how nice a place it was we would have stayed longer.. But the price made us a little leary

It was such a wonderful experience, the room is designed to make you feel like you are sleeping in a tropical forest surrounded by nature. Patrick is a great host with plenty of tips on where to go and how to get around. Would definitely go back.
As to be expected in that kind of setting, make sure to bring a mosquito repellent and ear plugs

The place was clean, easy to find, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the two of us. The place was conveniently located near many attractions, places to eat, and the other renters seemed to be courteous and respectful.

The location gave us easy access to both Hilo and Volcano...
The location gave us easy access to both Hilo and Volcano National Park. We landed at Kona airport and had to drive across the island to get to the Hilo side. I wouldn’t recommend that drive at night. This area is less commercial and more laidback than Kona.
