We stayed at The Carlton for just one night after a long 12-hour drive from Oregon. The hotel is a delightful blend of old-world elegance with modern comforts. The tasteful decor was a welcome change from the generic chain hotels we had endured the past few days. Best overall for us - We didn’t have to drive to a restaurant for dinner since great restaurants are within easy walking distance (1-2 blocks) - We highly recommend Mr. Q's. The Carlton's perfect location, combined with its charming atmosphere, made it the perfect stopover.

The location was great. The bedding and pillows really nice quality, bed was comfortable. Covered parking and patio were really nice, even though the weather kept us from using. My daughter slept on the couch and was surprised at how comfortable that was.

Very nice place, very clean, typical old time motel. Staff was very nice and accommodating. It was perfect for our 2 nights there. The whole area of Paso Robles is so nice.

Z Ranch enjoys a location in Templeton, 10 miles from Paso Robles Event Center and 17 miles from Mission San Miguel. There's a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay.
