Liked the location, cleanliness, continental breakfast, friendly receptionists and the fire pits on the beach and by the inn. Wanted room 102 and that room was listed on the reservation confirmation. We were given the keys to 101 when arriving . Didn’t cAre for the layout of 101. Being close to the water was awesome. Liked the fact that one could make a reservation for one night and not have to reserve for multiple nights.

I was there for The Ridges Nature Sanctuary.

I was there for The Ridges Nature Sanctuary. Mid-July to Aug is when the endangered and rare Hines Emerald Dragonfly is out. The Ridges is one of the few places these dragonflies can thrive. Other good wildlife at The Ridges. My travel is mainly limited to nature viewing and photography.

I enjoyed staying on the quieter side of the Peninsula

I enjoyed staying on the quieter side of the Peninsula There were a number of wonderful restaurants in walking distance or very near. The scenery is beautiful and we especially loved the lighthouse on Cana Island.

Had breakfast one morning at Fish Market and Grill-was excellent. The staff were very friendly and had great views of the water. Then we went to Cornerstone Pub for supper, the staff there were also friendly. The Pub was packed that night, so there was a bit of a wait-but, the food was really good. When coming into town, we always stop at the BP gas station. There is a huge selection of goodies, alcohol, and souvenirs. The view is pretty and especially love their flowers outside.

I wish the town had a few more shops to go to, because we ended up going to Fish Creek and Egg Harbor for more shops. But all the people were very friendly at the INN and in town, which was much appreciated.

Needed to book minimum of two days, you will need the time if sight seeing or wanting to visit the island, take boat tour etc. Nice smaller hotel with all the same items as bigger/ name brand hotels. Good beds, microwave, refrigerator, table in room for meals cooked on grill on patio. Close to town or area to manage smaller trips.
