Easy reach of everything in Bangor. Very helpful staff (they had no record of our booking.com reservation but happily gave us room at the same rate). Surprisingly elegant for a mall-side motel. Super comfortable.beds. Breakfast is nothing extravagant but much better than most free breakfasts. If you are in Bangor and want a walk, make sure to go to the Ogono Bog boardwalk trails in the City Forest - brilliant.

Has a lot to offer with a big city feel.
Has a lot to offer with a big city feel. Lots of restaurants, stores and places to watch sports, movies, cultural events. Not too far from the ocean or places to ski in winter or swim in summer. Lots of great hotels/motels. Bangor even has an international airport that is fairly close and easy to get to. The various Bangor expressways are numerous and easy to get to. The highway department keeps them in excellent condition year round. Bangor even has a casino downtown.

We usually visit Bangor once or twice a year for cross-border shopping. Over the years it seems the number of stores have dwindled. The Bangor Mall has very few shops actually open and no food court left. We will think twice before returning to shop.
We always enjoy dining at Applebee's and had a great lobster roll at Chase's Restaurant.
We did enjoy visiting Stephen King's home and were very pleasantly surprised to find the Cole Family Land Transportation Museum only 3 mins from our accommodations. It is a very well-laid out museum with transportation items from bicycles, sleds and baby strollers to snow ploughs, fire trucks and farm equipment . . . even a pop-up tent trailer from 1925! Well worth a visit!

Breakfast was very well presented in a large dining area (so easy access to tables) with two servers for the hot food (sausages, scrambled eggs). Hotel is a little outdated, but it is very clean and the staff are very helpful.

Kind of hard to GPS but finally got used to it.
Kind of hard to GPS but finally got used to it. Fr Knox is a great tour and Paul Bunyan statue and Steven Kings house. Fun. Traffic downtown was a bit much to find a place to park and eat. Great Irish Bar at a hotel but I can't remember the name of it.

The highlight of our visit was the Galen Colen Veteran and Transportation museum. It has so much history of Bangor and from the WWII and the Korean War. My husband and I truly enjoy it. We highly recommend it.
The location was great. Near gas, coffee, restaurants, and a short drive to the concert site which is why we were in Bangor.
This is the quietest place i have ever stayed!! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The pool was an excellent addition and there are lots of vending machines.
The staff was just top notch!
Tons of parking on site.
It was very clean and comfortable. A nit so hidden gem. We live just 25 miles away from Bangor so we just do little getaways from time to time. We have stayed at the big chain hotels with the fancy rooms......this one beats them all the room was perfect size and the bed was actually super comfortable. We will be back.
I stayed at this hotel because of the location. I had a 5 am flight and I could walk across the skywalk to the airport. I looked at other hotels in the area that were listed as airport hotels, but they did not have a shuttle service to the airport. I wasn’t sure about getting a taxi or an Uber that early in Bangor.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I own a cleaning company and was very impressed how clean the room was. Older hotel but has been very well maintained. My husband was impressed they provided gluten free bread and a separate toaster for those with celiac disease
It was a cheap hotel outside of Bangor. Checkin was easy even though we arrived late in the evening. The room was fine, everything was there and the beds were also good.
For breakfast we got a bag with Joghurt, muesli, apple, pastry and some juice.
The front desk worker was very nice. She was forced to turn away the person that attempted to check in before me and showed a great deal of empathy. She shouldn't have been forced to do this but the hotel had somehow been over booked.
Loved having a table and 2 chairs in the room
A lot of hotels don’t have that and we find it an important piece
We were able to sit and have our takeout dinner comfortably the night we arrived as well as our coffee the next morning
Staff and rooms are always good...just wish the hotel would consider mini fridge and microwave for rooms. Stayed at another hotel earlier this year that had both and made it nice so didn't have to travel with a cooler
Hotel is so so pretty, the room massive and far prettier than any other in Bangor. Staff friendly. Hot tub hot and spacious. Everything about it exceeded my already high expectations.
Convenience to the interstate and to downtown Bangor. This was one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The staff was courteous and the free breakfast was delicious.
Did not have breakfast. Hotel location is great for our intended visit. Swimming pool water temp was good, area was nice and clean. Hotel room and hall was clean as well.
the staff was super nice and funny , they surprised us with a free shuttle to our concert and back! the hotel and room was a fair price and was what we needed for our stay!
