Quality Inn Bedford, hotel in Bedford

The Quality Inn Bedford is conveniently located on Business Route 220, just north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and south of Interstate 99.

Great for parking a car for free, RIGHT OFF the Highway if you are driving to Pittsburgh or Monroeville (where I was heading) and the bed room had two beds even though we only used one, shower was good and refreshing with squeeze bottles of shampoo and conditioner. And the breakfast had toast, bagels, yogurt, fruit etc. Basic but good with Juice, coffee etc. The staff was nice and was a very easy check in and out.

Rodeway Inn Bedford, hotel in Bedford

Located off the Pennsylvania Turnpike at exit 146, the Rodeway Inn® & Suites in Bedford, PA offers easy access to Historic Downtown Bedford, Old Bedford Village and the hiking, biking, swimming,...

The owners were rude. When I called to tell him my air conditioner didn’t work he hung up on me. When he finally did come to the room he couldn’t fix it. Did he offer a different room or a discount? No! There were only 2 other cars there all night. He had plenty of rooms. The place was filthy. I couldn’t take a shower because the bathtub was gross. I also had a hard time sleeping because of the truck noise. He stuck me in a room as far away from the office as he could and it was next to a highway. Like I said all other rooms were open! False advertising! There was no continental breakfast. I WANT A REFUND PLEASE. THAT IS A REDICULOUS AMOUNT TO PAY FOR SUCH A HORRIBLE PLACE. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!

If history interests you at all I highly recommend the free tour at the Bedford Visitors center. It is about one and half hours and it is every Friday at 3:30. Also recommend the Bedford Fall Foliage Festival with over 400 vendors. Only thing bad about the festival is the crowds.

On my latest trip I didn't go into the downtown itself, which I will try on a future visit, but I enjoyed dinner at the Jean Bonnet Tavern and took advantage of the longer daylight hours to drive there on some back roads. The hotel staff also recommended some downtown restaurants, which I hope to try next time.

take advantage of the water circuit. It's wonderful. Be aware if you use booking your remove may be miles from the spa. We literally stayed at one end and the spa was at the other.. a 6 min walk. The pool is also great - no outdoor yet due to the weather. Do the history tour, there's a lot of it here.

There was a lot of interesting historic architecture that I would like to have seen more of during my visit, and the people there were friendly and welcoming of an out-of-state visitor like me. They even gave me some tips that enhanced my experience—I couldn’t act on all of them this time, so I hope next time comes soon!

The town of Bedford is super cute with nice shops and restaurants to check out. There are some good self guided tour brochures that the local travel center puts out and a free tour every Friday afternoon during certain months. Wish I had more time there to do some of the hikes as well. Would definitely recommend it to someone looking to get away to a small town. They also have a ton of events there to check out.

We did get to Jean Bonnets Tavern twice which was great. Got up to Ridgetop Orchards for great looking and tasting apples. Parking was easy. The town is small but we spent a whole day driving around the area. lots of covered bridges but did not see all.

It was a beautiful house with wonderful scenery. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. The home was extremely well equipped, and we loved all the spaces to hang out and share meals together. Also, it was close to downtown Bedford and other great tourist locations less than an hour away. We loved picking blackberries from the yard and watch baby birds in a nest on the property as well as visiting deer.

Very clean. Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Location. This wasy first time at this hotel, although I stay in Bedford often. I usually book the hotel next door. The hotel next door was charging literally twice as much and this Super 8 was just as comfortable and just as clean. I will now be booking at this hotel for all my stays in Bedford.

This is a classic old "grand hotel" that continues to be refurbished and upgraded. It has a very relaxed charm evoking eras of the past. The common areas are well appointed and relaxed with many overstuffed chairs and sofas' The guest rooms are furnished with furniture that appears to be of past times.

Breakfast, as always was fine. I do feel, however, that since a large number of guests were here for the ceremonies at the Flight 93 Memorial, breakfast should have started earlier on Saturday. A small price to pay for the hotel but attendees at the Memorial site are gearing up for a long, stressful day.

Don't remember her name but the female nite clerk on duty the night of August 26/27th was exceptional! First room was a mess. She gave us a "better" room attempted to make it right. That is the best thing I can say about this hotel!

A very basic Hotel in the heart of Bedford. Strengths are location and price. Weaknesses are amenities and ambience. However, the bed was comfortable oh, the room good size, and the shower worked well.
