Location was nice. Grocery store and restaurants close by. Hotel was clean and newly renovated. Breakfast was ok. Free coffee in the lobby was great!
We were a group of six and we love Blairsville. We were there during sorghum festival. Love the steel drums and parade. We also did concert on in the courthouse. Love hole in the wall restaurant. We enjoyed this town very music.

In one word: Expensive.
In one word: Expensive. It used to be my regular getaway, but especially restaurants and taxes and fees are going uncomfortably up. Better book a cabin in the county and cook in. On a "middle class" restaurant parking lot, there were in a row two Mercedes, one Porsche, one Maserati and one Lexus. The town being built in the mountains and around the lakes, it attracts much of the big Atlanta (less than 100 miles away) money, with many big and luxurious weekend homes (=mansions, to most) and expensive boats. The city itself is clean with a very beautiful small downtown historic area. Meeks Park is a gem.

Quiet little town if you like to relax.
Quiet little town if you like to relax. Plan a stop at Cook's Family Restuarant and eat. Great food and atmosphere and price reasonable. We stopped in Blairsville to look at antiques so not sure about other shopping experiences but there is a town square with some nice stores. Also ate at Hole in the Wall for breakfast. Food was good but cost was a little high. Worth the trip though.

When we arrived the TV and the coffee machine didn't work.
When we arrived the TV and the coffee machine didn't work. We complained to the landlord, who responded quickly and sent a neighbor. He gave us another TV and fixed the coffee machine. The rustic house was clean but totally overloaded with everything. The tree stools at the dining table are an impertinence, you can't even sit there for breakfast without your buttocks and back hurting for hours. When I rent a house I expect the house to be fully available to me, not here either the cupboards were locked or the drawers full. We couldn't even hang up our clothes and had to leave everything in the suitcase. The house gave the impression that the landlord lived in it and all his belongings were locked away in the house. There was also a construction site at the house. It also does not have three bedrooms as offered, but only a double bed in the basement, which cannot be described as a bedroom.

I liked the distance and the breakfast was ok but it was stressful that I was charged for a room to much.
151.00 and then it took me a week to get it taken care of.
That really bothered me because I needed that money and couldn't use it till taken care of

Sweet little town. Beautiful scenery.
Sweet little town. Beautiful scenery. They need better restaurants. There may have been others we didn't know about, but for the most part, nothing special in the restaurant department. The Sawmill Restaurant was ok. The Flying Trout was way over priced and felt more like cafeteria food. $105 for my husband and I. That included 1 drink each and a dessert. Very underwhelming. I was told once I got home that there were other restaurants, which tells me they aren't very well advertised because we really looked hard to find places to go. Maybe we just needed more time to find everything. It was a 3 day trip.
Home was in a great location, had everything we needed - kitchen well stocked! Was extremely pet friendly (though we didn't bring dogs this time). Loved having 3 well stocked separate bathrooms. House is a great value in a great area of Georgia! We enjoyed our family time exploring the area. Property management was great with communication!
The privacy & also the location to Blairsville. We were late & they left the light on and music playing on the tv so it was such a warm welcome when we arrived! We also had to change our days of stay & the staff made it hassle free!
I do a lot of traveling and visits a lot of hotels. The room I got for this trip was way better than any of the rooms I've been in, very modern looking. The price was a little higher than most but a good room for the money.
The cabin was beautiful and in a good location between Blue Ridge and Blairsville.
The cabin lived up to its name with several deer walking by during breakfast on the porch.
