the room was very clean and spacious. I loved the wallpaper with all of the stage passes from past performances. the shower was so nice as was the bathroom. I really liked that you could use the bathroom from the bedroom or the living room. The doors on the bathroom from the bedroom was a repurposed equipment box! LOVE IT

Overall, all services and service from front desk was exceptional!!! I am actually not used to having such a pleasant and problem free stay at hotels. The staff provided me with additional information for surrounding area and pet amenities within 10 miles of hotel. They provide a small snack/bag breakfast for the road IN ADDITION to continental breakfast (included in rate).
Thee staff was so friendly, courteous, and helpful, I am planning a weekend trip back to area to stay there and spend more time in Ephrata/ Amish country. It's sad and unacceptable that service like this isn't the norm when traveling in the northeast!

The Twin Pine in my opinion is a very upscale and beautiful gem in Lancaster. It's a lovely B&B and I would highly recommend it. The attendant that greeted us was very courteous and gave us a small tour of the B&B which was very well kept, clean, and in a quiet location! We had a fireplace which provided heat for the whole room. There was cable and even a DVD! They also had a spa which we didn't have a chance to use since we only stayed one day but the stand-up shower was a delight! The room we had was so clean and they even have in the common areas a pool table, a screen TV with a game console, free snacks, sodas, waters, teas and coffee! Stores are in close proximity, shopping and convenience stores about 10 minutes away. Private entrances to rooms. I reiterate, it is so quiet, clean, and reserved. The owner (a lady), I believe served a small breakfast in a cute little dining area to a small group and she was so polite. There is also an option to serve patrons breakfast in their rooms upon check-in. I love that no smoking is allowed in the B&B and I didn't smell any smoke outside. We will definitely be back! Also, we were told they provide discount tickets if you call and want to see a Sight & Sound production in Lancaster while staying at their B&B.
I would also recommend the Log & Cabin Restaurant for those looking for a quiet, romantic evening with their spouse. It's about 15 minutes away, off the grid a bit but very good food for the price.

Very quaint and quiet place. My brother stayed there while visiting my mother, he lives in Alabama. He came up with his son and family to visit my mother and do some home repair for her.
