Obviously an old road side inn, but the current owner is doing a great job with updates and renovations. Has the old charm and style, but new beds, linens, ac/heat…. Staff was very nice, made adjustments to my reservation, gave local recommendations…

Nothing because we didn't get to stay. We got to the inn and no one was there. The office sign said ring bell, we rung bell and no one answered. We called and went straight to voice-mail. We never spoke to anyone, so therefore we never got a key nor did we stay. The place is run down, trashy, nasty, and if i get charged for this room i will report fraud! We left and enjoyed a nice stay in New land NC
It is 12-15 miles outside Burnsville. The fireplace is an infared heater. The road is literally 4 feet away, so there is some noise. The tub and lavatory drain very slowly. Getting around is difficult. It is adequate in most ways and a beautiful, natural, secluded location.

we really spent most time in Ashville...about 25 min. away, which was fine...8 bedrooms and baths...we had a big group of adults...I can not speak highly enough about the serenity and peace we found there.

We ate at Bubba's Great Eats - food not so good!
It is easy to get around.

Very friendly; a couple of good places to eat; a few nice gift shops; close to Mt. Mitchell & Little Switzerland and the Blue Ridge Parkway; short drive to Hendersonville...I don't recommend Asheville at all; horiible place!

Burnsville is a nice little mountain town.
Burnsville is a nice little mountain town. I especially enjoyed the town center. It is one way around the center making it very nice to walk around and enjoy the shops. I noticed some nice eating places. The people are friendly and helpful. I would suggest that they consider some Blue Grass Music in the Town Center. I think people would enjoy that and with people, you always get business. Just an I idea.....

Getting around town very easy, lots of small quaint shops in the downtown area. We ate down the street from motel at a restaurant called The Snapdragon. It was great. Had seating for inside and outside dining. We ate outside, the weather was pleasant. Restaurant also accomodated dogs in outside dining area. A very friendly community !
