Owners very helpful and welcoming; facilities clean as a whistle; lobby seating area feels like a family living room; location great in heart of Groveland and walking distance to restaurants. Bathrooms refurbished and elegant. Room was pleasantly quiet given the hotel was full, we didn't hear any sounds overnight. Games and refrigerator available for guest use. Help-yourself muffins, donuts, coffee and tea in morning is a nice way to start the day. Great value over all. Perfect stop on the way to Yosemite.

Whisker trimmings behind sink faucet. Tub was dirty. Power went out a couple of times a day without warning. Hot tub was dirty. Dog poop on the grounds. No continental breakfast, not even coffee or coffee cups. Left a day early, rang the bell at 0900 at the front desk day of departure and no response. I was told by a young lady 2 doors away that they might still be sleeping.

Made accommodations for an extra person to stay last minute, and created a great atmosphere to interact with other guests. Lovely and friendly pets and amazing location! Really close to Yosemite also, and to the cute town of Coulterville.

In the yard there are barbecue facilities and recreation areas. There is a light breakfast. A good choice. I recommend it!

We hadn’t had dinner and the town is small, so they call in a favor to a local restaurant and they brought dinner to us, even though the restaurant had already closed for the evening.
