The room was spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made it really comfortable. The bathroom was nice too, though the ventilation system was pretty loud. I really appreciated the on-site laundry facilities that were available with coin-operated washers and dryers at a very affordable price. It was also super handy to be able to grab detergent for just a dollar at the front desk. Breakfast was nice as well

Very old smelly furniture, rust in bathroom, shade by the bed was coming apart. Needs some updating.

Crescent City is a fantastic spot with stunning views, from its rugged beaches and iconic lighthouse to the friendly locals. The town's museums offer a peek into its history, including a dramatic tale of survival from a tsunami. There are plenty of great places to eat, and the nearby redwood forests are simply breathtaking—a must-see for anyone visiting. In short, Crescent City is a perfect blend of nature, history, and hospitality.

The staff is always nice.
The staff is always nice. I'm always occomodated with a ground floor room.
Even the non-ocean rooms have a little ocean view - but only when the RV place is empty.
It's easy to pack and unpack - just pull up in front of your room.
Don't miss walking to the lighthouse. Check the tides because it's only accessible during a low tide.

We specifically chose Crescent City as a launch for visiting the Redwood Groves nearby. That was an awe inspiring highlight that I highly recommend. The natural beauty of the ocean beaches and harbour area are stunning. The city itself was sadly very depressed and seems desperately in need of an infusion of business upgrades. Many businesses are clised and shuttered.
We did enjoy an excellent seafood meal at a place on the harbour.

Very blah room
If the only requirement for a suite are 2 rooms, frig, microwave with one bathroom, no outside vanity and sinks separate from toilet, then it was ok. Was not expecting just bare essentials and little decor and crowded living area.

I have been to Crescent city a handful of times.
I have been to Crescent city a handful of times. But have only gone to the same couple of places. This trip we explored. Such a beautiful place. Check out Pebble Beach drive. Absolutely beautiful! Great place to watch the sunset!
This is my second stay at the Motel 6 in Crescent City CA. The hotel itself is run down and crappy, the staff (ALL OF THEM) are extremely rude and unhelpful, the linens provided are terrible, the rooms are disgusting, the beds are super uncomfortable, the tv service and WiFi sucks. All in all this hotel needs a complete upgrade, staff jncluded, or shut down for good. This is my second complaint and Corporate really needs to do something about a complete over haul, ESPECIALLY THE RUDE STAFC
A nice hotel. Very pleasant.
We loved the location. Just a 2 minute drive to the most amazing sandy beach. Great for an hour walk upon the beach over and an hour back. Loads of sand dollars.
We had great clam chowder and fish just across the road.
We enjoyed the family suite with a separate room just for the adults.
This hotel was in a great location to get us into Redwood National park very quickly. The room was a little small but clean and comfortable. The best part though was the breakfast. They had a great variety and it was all delicious, a wonderful way to start our day of hiking.
I absolutely loved my stay at this motel - it’s in a dream location and was incredible value for money. The staff were great and helped us make the most of our short stay by guiding us through the best walking routes. We finished off our day drinking beer by the fire pit.
Location is both great and a tich difficult. Highway 101 runs in front of the hotel, but the density of traffic does drop significantly at night.. Basically only loud Harleys and trucks are a nuisance and then only if you like to keep a window open for fresh air
The staff were very friendly and helpful; even baking cookies for the firefighters in residence. There was enough parking and the hotel is easy to locate. The location was fine for experiencing the Redwood Forest.
Exceptional view of the ocean. I believe all the rooms have an ocean view and most have balconies. Access to beach and Pet friendly (didn't bring my pup this time though) Great location. Clean room.
Convenient location for a one-night stay as a roadtrip stopover, with rooms that have at least seen some vague "remodelling" in the last century as opposed to many other motels in the area.
The hotel was unsatisfactory, however, the location on the beach was beautiful. The beach was absolutely stunning, would stay somewhere different and visit the beach again another time.
