We stayed one night at the Grand Mansion, Our room was very nice. It looked like a bed & breakfast place at one time but it isn't that now. Easy access to lots of restaurants and stores, We ate at Texas Roadhouse, which was very good. The next morning we ate at the Calio Cafe and it was excellent. Enjoyed the United States Marshal Museum before leaving town.

Lots to do.
Lots to do. The US Marshals museum is cool, lots of antique stores, the historical site was very interesting, some good restaurants are in the area, and we liked being close to the Arkansas River. Would've liked to do the art museums ... next time.

While we were traveling through, I chose the Fort Smith location as a stopover point based upon mileage traveled. Our accommodations were in the city and as we learned, the free parking in the area was somewhat limited. The outside eating establishments were several city blocks away. No problem for us, but those with mobility issues may want to consider the many properties we saw on the outskirts of the city.

Adventure awaits.
Adventure awaits. Lots of history to experience and great scenery.
Getting around Fort Smith is not complicated at all and is a breeze once you get a feel for the lay of the land. Lots of great places to dine that are easy to locate.

We loved it here. Such a cool space! Indoor water feature.
We loved it here. Such a cool space! Indoor water feature. We did room service even though there was plenty of space to relax at the bar/restaurant. The food was good. We would definitely stay again if we travel through.

We were only there for one night on a cross country trip, but as we drove out I saw many places I would have liked to stop and explore, especially in the downtown and riverfront areas. There were numerous entertainment/restaurants/shopping areas that might have been fun had we had time.
We stayed in your hotel 2 months ago and loved it so when we were coming back from our vacation we decided to stay here again - going out of our way just to stay in your fabulous, clean, new facility! We especially like that you have Keurig coffee makers in the rooms!
We will always try to stay in a Holiday Inn Express next time we are out of town! Another thing we liked was that it was right next to our favorite restaurant!
The staff is wonderful. My carpet was dirty and the room was so humid and smelled like cigarette smoke. You could see out into the hall through sides of the door… and anyone could come in the building through any door at any time. I did not feel very safe. Also, the location is horrible. It’s right on the main street and traffic is so bad that you cannot pull out of the hotel without risking your life!!!
Very clean and nice the breakfast is one of the best I've ever seen in a hotel setting! I feel like it could have been a little cheaper than I paid for the queen suite but there were 4 teenage boys and 2 adults and we had plenty of room!! I'd stay again! Pool area was nice it was just us down there the whole time.
This place was absolutley disgusting. It smelled of vomit, trash and the carpets were beyond soiled. The rooms were moldy, dusty, broken lights, desk. The art work was removed but screws and holders just painted over. Nasty stuff spilled on walls. Putrid doesn't do this hotel justice.
Cheaper price than others. Clean room. Comfy bed. Clean bathroom. I only stayed one night and wasn't at the hotel long, only to sleep and go, so for my needs it met everything I needed. Looked like I would have enjoyed it more if I had stayed longer.
The staff that I directly dealt with were awesome, friendly, and welcoming (e.g. front desk, breakfast attendee/cook). However, my problem is with management and getting my issue taken care of (as described below)!
Beautiful hotel and lobby area!!
beautiful location, the hotel was clean and beautiful inside, the rooms were so spacious, and clean and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a hotel! the staff worked hard for us and made us feel joy after a 15 hour drive!
Room was a good size and clean, breakfast was ok but not very good, public areas of the hotel were well kept and clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
We didn’t get up in time for breakfast but we loved that the room was clean and updated and loved the suite with all the kitchen amenities and the living room
The price was the only reason I stayed. I know now that I would rather pay the exter twenty to stay at the hotel I normally stay at when visting fort smith.
