For this area it was a pretty good affordable option. The hotel was close to the slopes, Aspen and Vale were just an hour drive. We were able to rent skis i the town for much cheaper than what we would pay in Aspen. The town was nice and cozy - had pretty good shops, amenities and (cheap) restaurants with good food. The location of the town is also very convenient - very easy drive from highway.
The hotel had everything you need for a longer stay. Rooms are comfortable, had kitchen, nice tv with Netflix and Youtube, comfortable bed and a big sofa. It was a good place to relax after hitting the slopes. The hotel lobby is very nice and new (it has a fireplace!). There is a firepit outside. We never got to go to the gym, pool or spa but they looked nice when we were walking by.
The staff was extremely nice and friendly.

I'm still livid that the management would choose to subject guests to FOX news propaganda while visiting the lobby while checking in and eating breakfast. All those supporting the former treasonous insurrectionist lying criminal traitor do not belong in the hospitality industry.
I'm extremely offended.

Great town where real people live and work, not like the resort towns of Beaver Creek and Vail. We stayed as a mini-break during a longer ski vacation. The hot springs are a brilliant way to relax and enjoy the winter sunshine. Expensive to get in at $32, plus another $8 for a towel rental (Probably cheaper to buy one at Walmart!), but you can come & go all day if you wish. The vapour caves are quieter & more serene with a sad history of the white folks displacing the native Americans. You probably need to book in advance as they need to limit entrants to the caves - $20 for 2hr stay, including a towel!
Plenty of choice of restaurants and bars in town, all within walking distance. Easy drive to Glenwood Springs as the I70 (and railway line) go right through the middle.

Room was very small, smelled like mildew, air conditioner didn’t work, breakfast was horrible, beds were very old and hard and slanted towards the edges of the bed. The hot springs pool was wonderful and the staff there were friendly and helpful.

Should not be charging for open lot parking.
Should not be charging for open lot parking. Should offer at least a continental breakfast. Way too many additional add-on charges. 15% tax in Glenwood Springs (?). The room charge per night apparently, as I was told, varies according to hotel bookings. We were there off season. Room service, minimal clean towels, emptying trash, only occurs after a 2 night stay Really? The staff was the best. Attentive and friendly.

Lovely hotel, centrally located.
Lovely hotel, centrally located. Room had all the facilities one could need. Breakfast was included and was very good. Despite being central and directly on a busy road it was surprisingly quiet.
Highly recommended if in the area or having a session in the Hot Springs!

This lovely historic hotel is conveniently situated just across the pedestrian bridge from downtown Glenwood Springs and the hot springs pool. The large lobby is comfy and the outdoor area is serene. Our king room with parlor, with its sofa and table, was a wonderful place to rest after hiking and exploring the town. They have installed window air conditioners which worked extremely well. We enjoyed looking at all of the historic articles and photographs on the walls of the lobby and floors. The breakfast was excellent!
The location of the hotel was pretty nice: not too far from the adventure park or the hot springs. It is also walkable distance from the Union station. The hotel isn't new, but has everything you need for a nice stay. The gym had the bare minimum, but this is rare too, so it exceeded my expectations. The pool is pretty nice. Facilities were a bit old but did their job. The views of Colorado mountains are there even if they also include a highway and a parking :-)
The room we received had three (3!) queen beds in it! I was traveling with 3 teenagers and this made it easy for us all to be in 1 room. The kids LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the shower. Our trip was to go to Glenwood Springs Adventure Park and this hotel was WALKING DISTANCE to it! The staff was wonderful and so kind! Breakfast was free (another plus!) and the staff in the breakfast area was very helpful. Would stay here again.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful other than room housekeepings utter failure. The pool and hot tub were nice. The grounds were clean and maintained. Breakfast was good for an included buffet style self serve hotel breakfast. Location was near downtown so dining was walking distance as were the two hot springs and gondola attractions. I really like the location and room sizes.
Room, bathroom, fridge and microwave were super clean. All the things I wanted to do were in Glenwood Springs itself and I didn't need uber at all. I walked everywhere or used the local bus (Rode Glenwood, which is free) that stops opposite the hotel. The location is super convenient. The staff at reception were super kind and accommodating to the requests I had.
The location was excellent, right on the main street in Glenwood Springs. The rooms are not new (think 1980's motel) but they are exceptionally clean and taken care of well. The beds are comfortable. The flowers all around the property are beautiful. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. The hotel has a bike/ski locker to store equipment.
Close the gondolas, was too far to walk to downtown with kids but less than 5min in a car. Was close to the hot springs as well. The hotel is old, nothing to write home about but the front desk was friendly, its safe, they have a nice indoor pool and slide for kids and you could take the gondolas to Glenwood caverns
The family suite was a good size for our family of five. The bedside lighting in the bedroom is very good. The free breakfast was decent, a typical continental breakfast. The location is excellent
, close to the two main springs, and there is a Ride Glenwood Springs stop near the hotel.
Location was perfect! We walked into town using the cross-walk bridge that crossed over the hot springs and the river. Was great price and the owner was SO friendly and nice. I definitely recommend! We also went to the Iron Mountain Hot Springs which are right around the corner!
The rooms were well laid out, comfortable and spacious. The hotel location is great and the rooms were quiet despite being in the centre of downtown. Nice that the hotel has its own brewery and is walking distance to lots of restaurants, the parks and the springs.
Best location in Glenwood Springs overlooking the beautiful historic train station and iconic Colorado Hotel and hot springs across the Colorado River. Easy access to riverfront park, restaurants, and shops.
The location was very close to the Hot Springs Pool and close to downtown. It was easy to get food near the hotel. I also thought the price was very good for the quality.
