Nice desk clerk. Downhill after that. This is an ancient motel, and although the room was clean, it smelled atrocious of mold. If I hadn't been very tired. The smell would have kept me awake.

Hotel is 1/4 off I-70 easy on off access, I got checked in at 7:30pm and all 1st floor rooms were taken, they gave me 2nd floor room which was quiet enough and clean and comfy. I had several bags of luggage and had to climb stairs three times because no elevator onsite, at 72yrs I got a work out! All in all hotel is fine and one of the better one with a decent price.

Green River is a small town with the John Powell museum right next to the hotel. Has a couple good restaurants and a nice grocery store. There are lots of Jeep and ATV trails right out of Green River

We have stayed at Green River Terrace Inn the last two years on our trip to Colorado Springs.
We love the location on the river. It’s peaceful and has a great cook to order breakfast. The restaurant next door is always enjoyable. Try it you’ll love it!

Green River feels very sketchy as a town, and is little more than a glorified truck stop. This town had much worse vibes compared to other towns in Utah of similar size. There is only one decent restaurant (Tamarisk) in this town. Stay in some other town instead.

We didnt spend much time in town but there were good restaurants, a good museum. and a decent coffee shop. ( a must for us). It was a good base for bicycling.. We ate at Rays, the Tamarisk... both good. We will definitely go back sometime to explore more dirt roads. Also the melons were great. took 4 home!
First Choice Inn is a moderately priced lodging that appears renovated. It's room and common areas were spotless, its desk staff was cheerful and most helpful, and it's a close proximity to Green River's best dining establishment and the John Westley Powell museum. There's also a bank of Tesla charging bays for your electric vehicle next to the property, and added bonus.
Located along Green River w/nice view from room, patio and restaurant. Nice decor, clean and priced well. Breakfast included and works for those with food allergies as I have Celiacs and dairy allergies. John Wesley Powell Museum across the street and Tesla charging stations. Have been staying there for years on our way to the Utah desert to hike.
Great pet friendly location, across the street from a park, good taco truck across the street, great hamburger/pizza 2 doors down. Close enough to Arches and great off roading opportunities. Benches outside rooms to sit out front. Hotel host is super funny!
Ice machine, coffee, melon in the morning. Fridge, microwave, hot water.
Helpful and friendly receptionist (thank you for resolving the hair dryer issue), clean room, comfortable bed, silent area.
Older place but everything is funtional and clean. It was my second visit after 5 years and there was nothing unexpected. If I have another journey through Green River I will stop by again.
The hotel is simple, but excellent. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, with a style that made me smile every time I walked in. The backyard with the river gives amazing ambience. The place is extremely quite and the beds are very comfortable.
Genuinely one of the nicest places i've stayed.
If you want to visit Moab and the surrounding national parks, this is a great place to be able to get away and stay (and not have to pay the hotel prices in downtown Moab). Green River is very small and don’t underestimate how limited your options will be food and travel/amenities wise.
Great value for money. We stayed there on our way from Vegas to Denver and had no complaints. The hotel met our expectations and offered a great place to stay for one night. There is a restaurant and coffee shop within walking distance. The place was clean.
Breakfast was very good, a little variety each day we were here. The outside patio was great to sit on and eat. Since dinner was not included, the Tamarisk was the best bang for our bucks, right on the Green River.
Very nice pool and hot tube, lots of TV-s in the pool area wall. Good fitness room with the equipment. Good breakfast. Great location, off the interstate and near exit for Moab/Canyonlands.
The booking.com price was around $65. Booking.com said they were pet friendly...yet they charged me $45 for one night. My dogs are 13 lbs. Each...too much added charges
