The location was great, the room was huge, the beach and pool area were lovely. We liked the free pool towels and the pool bar.
They had a shuttle service to take you around the resort for free, which was brilliant.

I always stay at this resort every time I go to the keys. The staff is wonderful, the pool is nice and the bungalow I stayed in was facing the ocean, so relaxing! Thank you!

Very nice place for kayaking and snorkeling.
Very nice place for kayaking and snorkeling. For sure you will see Robbie's that is the place to go to organize and do everything but be very much aware! We went there for dinner, feeding the tarpoons and to chill and as long as we brought money everything was fine. We were independently Kayaking close by and the owner of Robbie approached us in a rough, unfriendly way as soon as he realized we had private kayaks not from him.. We were having some floating issues and he was completely disrespectful also with risk for our safety...
Luckly the staff at Robbie's are amazing! While the owner can only see $$, $$ before humans

The Islander resort delivered a beautiful beach with great views. Our suite was very updated with design features. The bar service on the beach was wonderful. At night and early in the morning the private patio was a wonderful retreat. There were a lot of local restaurants to choose from, but the bar and restaurant on site were very good as well. We spent one day at Theatre of the Sea. The dolphin show and exhibits were very enjoyable. We will return.

If you don't have plans on the water, there is pretty much nothing to do. You need access to a boat and good weather to enjoy multiple days here. Everything we planned got cancelled because of the wind (snorkeling, kayaking, parasailing). We basically went to the diving museum, watched tv, and went out to eat. Definitely visit Lorelei's or the Morada Bay Cafe for awesome views. Midway cafe is the GOAT, order ahead for even faster service. Don't come here for the beaches, you'll be disappointed.

Islamorado in December was good for kayaking but probably would be a little cool for most water sports. Seems to be more of a fishing area. Good restaurant options. Be prepared for traffic on Highway 1 if you are traveling by car. We had dinner at Lorelei’s, good atmosphere and great service on the beach but food was just average. We also had dinner at Lazy Days. Food was better here but service was not. Had breakfast at Mangrove Mikes. Huge portions, (enough to share) and was very good with even gluten free options. Also had breakfast at F’ing bagels. Great food and service but options were more limited that a regular diner. We kayaked in the mangroves with Keys Kayaks and Jade was a great host. Didn’t see manatees or much wildlife but it was still a great experience. Betsy the lobster is a good photo op.
Great resort with beach bungalow feel, lush landscaping and fun, laid back activities (bike riding, kayaks) when you are in the mood. Beautiful setting, screened in porch felt private and gave a way to sit outside but at your room. Onsite company, Island Girl Snorkle and Tours, was convenient and what a great group! Plenty of restaurants, shops close by. Big hotel resorts are fun too, but i like not having to get in an elevator or walk through a crowded lobby to come and go to the pool, etc.
It’s a town home and we are a group of five. So it’s nice to stay in one place together. First time we stayed it smelled dank and moldy. but thats not the hotels fault. guests like leaving the doors open and that salty humid air does damage. This time around the town home smelled pleasant and was cleaned well enough.
the staff was more then helpful after Booking.com messed up big time they don’t communicate with the hotel so they gave me a room that wasn’t available.
the receptionist went above and beyond to fix the problem and stayed 2 hours after her shift just to make sure I was ok .
very rare these days .
The hotel was easy to find and car parking was available for all guests. The staff on arrival tried to help us change our room as the room allocated to us was up a flight of stairs and my partner had walking difficulty. In any event me managed for the short two day stay.
they staff was very helpful and accommodating after a situation with key .. I was expecting something something out dated and cheap but my room was surprisingly nice .. I will Recommend for family vacation stay or couples .. boat ramp too if you have boats
The grounds are beautiful. The large beaches are perfect. Great location -- close to everything on Islamorada, including the sandbar. Room size is decent, large balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the atmosphere in the evenings.
Wonderful, cute and cozy hotel. Beautiful and comfortable area, friendly and helpful staff. It is located in a very convenient location, bars and restaurants are all nearby. High recommendation, we will definitely come back here again!
We were looking on a hotel inthe middle of the Keys and it was perfect. The swimming pool is cool for children who really appreciate. We really appreciate and thanks the team and the manager who arranged us for the room.
Wonderful location, very laid back. Nicely laid out grounds. Very friendly staff. Islamorada is the best area to stay in in our opinion. Great to be able to use the kayaks & bikes whenever we wanted
Beautiful grounds and a great beach. We were in the unmodernised part of the hotel which was clean and comfortable.
The swimming pool area was good and the staff on poolside very attentive.
private beach
quite a big area
complementary kayaks, paddle boards
for sure there is a good view from ocean view rooms but i def wouldnt reccomend any other type of rooms in this hotel
The pool and location was excellent. It was in a perfect spot to enjoy all Islamorada has to offer. The rooms were clean and the a/c worked great. The views were amazing.
This hotel is good choice when traveling to Key West. Free parking, comfortable rooms, swimming pool. Nearby there is traditional bar with good drink and food.
Thomas at front desk was exceptionally helpful.
The hotel is well maintained and room was very clean.
We got an upgrade to a very nice room with ocean view.
