The hotel was is good clean well kept condition. I didn’t notice any damaged furniture or overflowing trash bins, everything looked clean and tidy. Nothing seemed outdated either.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was awesome, and the beds were comfortable. We had the opportunity to use the pool and found it to be nice and the perfect temperature. All around, wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed eating lunch at Kim's off the square in Jacksonville. We also checked out the big baseball field by Passavant Hospital. My grandson's college team played there the week before, and I wanted to see what it looked like. It's a big complex with at least 4 baseball fields, and concession stand. We also had the dinner buffet at Buffet King in Lincoln Square. Then visited several other businesses in Lincoln Square. As an adult, I know how to look past certain behaviors or not to take things personally most of the time. However, my son and friend took offense to a comment made towards us during our trip to the movie theater. Other than that, I like small town living. The MacMurray College campus was beautiful.
