Jeffersonville is a small town and it provides basic accommodations and restaurants. However, if you try to get a nice meal after 9:30pm on a Monday night, you have very limited options. About the only place we could find open was a Hardee's--which was not what we had in mind. They have a cute main street with boutiques, businesses, etc., but it was completely shut down by 9:30pm.

The evening (female) clerk was very friendly. Even helped to figure out how to turn the lights on in the breakfast area so our family could hang out and play cards.
