Very peaceful area. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was one of the best we've had away from home. Highly recommend!

Small, pleasantly quirky, northern California coastal community. Friendly people. A bit isolated which for us added to the charm. Couldn't be much more different than it was from a Southern California beach community. This is a big plus. However, be sure you go there with someone you like. Because if it's not working out with your partner, you're a long way from a movie theatre or a walk in the park. The flip side is if your doing well together this is a great place to be alone together.

Romantic and enchanting!
The Monte Rio room was perfect for our anniversary.
Enjoy dinner at the River's Edge (walking distance).
Lovely birdwatching from our private deck. We saw Canada Goose, Pelagic Cormorant, Double-crested Cormorant, Brown Pelicans, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret and a California Scrub Jay!

There isn't much to Jenner - a cafe for breakfast and lunch, a nice restaurant only for dinner(reservations necessary well in advance), a gift shop, a gas station, and a boat ramp and stony beach. However, it's got a great river for kayaking and paddle board ing, and bird watching. We didn't go to Goat Beach (too busy) but it looked great. Jenner is close to Bodega Bay (which feels cramped and too busy, but definitely eat at The Birds Cafe - fabulous food!!!) and to Fort Ross, so it's an ideal location.

The hotel is old, but fairly well kept & clean. Too bad the restaurant was closed, we had to drive 5 miles to Duncans Mills for food. We took our folding chairs to the river's cliff to watch paddle boarders at sunset, relaxing. Next trip we will stay someplace with more to offer.

Loved all the different parks up and down the highway from Jenner Inn that lead right to the ocean. Huge waves, warm sand, we couldn't have picked a better weekend to stay at Jenner Inn as we were told the weather was warmer than usual. No wind! No rain! Perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at Jenner Inn, and would highly recommend it.The beach was terrific. We ate in Bodega Bay which was very disappointing. It turned out to be a tourist trap. What saved it was the ocean view and seeing an Ospri catch a fish and fly off with
The hotel was nice, but we will not be returning. No amount of free meals or drinks will make up for the bias we experienced here. If the hotel wants to feel welcoming to nonwhites, it should invest in implicit bias training. Unless it wants to be welcoming to only white and East Asians, in which case it is doing a great job. This is saddening because there are some great employees there but I cannot see how anyone who does not fit in as model minority or is nonwhite could feel comfortable. I would much rather spend my money elsewhere.
This lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was large and comfortable, with a sweeping view of the coast. The lobby and restaurant were spacious and inviting, and the food was excellent. After dinner we joined other guests around a cozy outdoor gas fire. There was also live music - a quiet but talented folksinger. When one arrives at a place like this after bicycling 35 miles with a 30-pound touring load, what else could one ask for?
Amazing food - dinner and breakfast. Great staff - really amazing ppl with beautiful attitudes, super accommodating and helpful. This location is a must stop! It was 4 of us: 2 adults and 2 kids. We had a great room with bunk bed, fireplace and a turntable! And balcony had the most spectacular view (side of the ocean).
We loved everything about the hotel. Room was nice, the views were exceptional, staff was friendly and very helpful. Lots of little things that made our stay memorable: delicious hot chocolate and cider in the lobby, LP player in the room... The restaurant doesn't have a large menu, but food there is very good.
Check in and check-out was great. Staff was very friendly. In the beginning I thought the price was high but then realized that there are very few charming accoms along the coast with two beds, so we had to pay for a quad. The unit was a bit dated but charming.
Everyone at Jenner Inn is very nice and attentive, and the town is very pleasant and laid back. We were on the river with a little porch overlooking the Russian River. It was lovely and close to nature.
The Timber Cove staff are so friendly. I love the family vibe around there. The location of the hotel is incredible and our room did have a sweeping view of the ocean, as promised.
Good breakfast for two. Pretty location overlooking the River and ocean. Lovely place. We go there often, I know where we love to stay, Jenner Inn by the sea. The view
