nothing to do, not many restaurants except fast food. no...
nothing to do, not many restaurants except fast food. no where to shop but Walmart.. Tried a restaurant called Tumbleweed and a Fatsz it was ok. hotels are expensive for that area because you have to drive a long way to see anything so you might as well stay in that area.

Although this was a working trip, I felt like I was on vacation and wish I could have spent more time there. Be sure to step outside at night! The stars are amazing and the trickling creek adds to the ambiance - peaceful! Really appreciate the host, Mike. He sincerely wanted to make my stay the best it could be - he succeeded.

But well worth the stay! It’s a very easy drive to Blowing rock, and Wilson’s Creek. Just a little something have to say thank you for having a makeup mirror! I realize when traveling how I miss that- rarely offered in rentals!

Waking up in the morning to that view, to the peace and quiet at night was amazing. House is beautiful, not far from the amenities of Lenoir either. Will stay here again.
