The rate didn’t reflect the value. Apparently there are no plans to open the pool. It was drained when I arrived and has been for some time. I believe the link to the hotel references a pool. The owners are residents of the hotel. It seems as if they are running the hotel on a dime and happy when they get someone to reserve a room.AAnonymousUnited States

It was about a 15 minute jaunt, but it was a beautiful drive! We crossed on the ferry, drove through Baraboo, and enjoyed a slower pace route. The staff was super friendly and the hotel room was clean. It did not have a musty smell or visible issues. The beds were a little firm for my taste, but my kids both slept well on them. I was impressed with the manager helping out with breakfast. He was very friendly and a good host. The remodeling was done with quality in mind. Upgrading to walk-in showers should be next. Great water pressure in shower! I would definitely stay here again! I seen a lot of pride displayed with our stay. That is very refreshing to witness. Kudos on this location. This location should be the goal of every hotel chain.

If there had been, it likely would have tasted like curry. The overwhelming odor of curry was present EVERYWHERE in the hotel. Oops, this comment was supposed to answer to what I liked. Not that I need alcohol, but the Waddle Inn bar next to the hotel was the best part of my stay.
