We've stayed here a few times before, but always on the 3rd floor, this time they put us on the 1st floor, the room was full of ants, especially by the trash and in the bathroom! My husband and I didn't even notice it until later in our stay. Disgusting.

I like the area, close to things and close to the cities but not to close, so if you are a person who likes to be close enough to the city to visit but not in the city this is defiantly a good option. Although traffic in this area is busy, the hotel was easy to get to. The parking area is open and by a beautiful lake. The check-in staff was super friendly and helpful. The woman who ran the breakfast area was so pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. It was the best post-Covid breakfast we have had in a hotel. Facility and room were clean. The breakfast was sufficient, hot items offered everyday. Price was very affordable. Neighborhood was a little sketchy however I felt very secure during my stay and hotel was close to major roadways for an easy commute. Internet was slow at certain times. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There were warm and cold breakfast options with staff dedicated to the breakfast area. I loved the spacious, open, airy feeling of the breakfast room area with plenty of room for 50 guests or more. We met new friends there as both parties were there for several days.
