The room was comfortably large and there were plenty of restaurant options available in the area. The breakfast offerings at this hotel were lacking though and we had to leave the hotel for better breakfast options.

My room was lovely and at a great price.
My room was lovely and at a great price. After a long 8 hour drive, relaxing in this room was wonderful. I also slept very well. I wasn't looking for fancy. I wanted a clean room, with room amenities, a free breakfast in a safe location. That is exactly what I got, and at a great price.

Very dirty.
Very dirty. Took too long to check in, the clerk gave us three room keys before getting our room we booked online. Other reviews said how clean the rooms, not true. The whole place needs attention. The clerk needs training. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere clean.

I wasn't in Marion for sightseeing. I grew up in the area.
I wasn't in Marion for sightseeing. I grew up in the area. There are many people who refuse to get vaccinated and/or wear a face covering. Marion is a hillbilly, low-education, and Trump supporting town. The people are not very friendly, either. Fortunately, I spent the majority of my time with friends for the week of Thanksgiving. Next time, I absolutely will avoid the America's Best Value Inn. It is a total dump, with roaches, and filthy. For other travelers, if you enjoyed the show Hee-Haw from the 1970's/80's, you will like this region.

This is a very nice hotel with comfortable and clean rooms and located close to a number of food and shopping options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were only there one evening and didn't get to take advantage of some of the amenities like the pool and hot tub, as well as the complimentary breakfast and dinner but everything looked great and we look forward to staying here again in the future.
Everything there was good at the hotel although I had to pay more, but Booking.com was the problem. No reservation was made even though Booking.com gave me a confirmation number. I also discovered a reservation made through Booking.com for April was not made either. Very disappointing. I can’t trust Booking.com.
Even though it’s an older seeming hotel, it’s clean and well cared for. The staff are incredibly nice! The rooms felt cozy, even if they aren’t the most up to date, design-wise. The beds and pillows are really comfortable, though! Overall, I would recommend this location and I would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast was very good. We love the pan cake machine!! the staff was very helpful. The location of the hotel was good. The bed was comfortable. We were surprised housekeeping came in and made the bed and placed new towels in the bathroom. Very nice surprise!
room not ready until 9:30 pm. and then i had to make the beds!
bathrooms were a mess lousy water pressure only 2
towels
and then i received a phone call in my room at 11:45
pm asking my name because they did not know who was there
Breakfast was exceptional, home cooking! Room was clean and well maintained. Just needed a bed, got treated like a king! Will definitely be back if I’m ever in that neck of the woods (food was stupendous, had to get a recipe and did)
Very large, nice, clean room. Excellent facility if traveling with a dog. There are LOTS of hotels at this stop in Marion, Illinois. The Drury Inn, which also allows pets looked good too. Pays to comparison price shop here.
Our stay was great. The free breakfast was an awesome addition to the pleasure of the stay. Not to mention the free dinner and free drinks. The food was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable. We will be back soon.
