The room is very cute. I really liked the decor. It matches the theme of the town well. I loved the little tray of snacks! That was a nice touch. The room was very clean which I always appreciate.

I chose the motel because of the reviews about how although the rooms were dated they were spotlessly clean. Imagine my surprise when I opened the door and the room had brand new carpet, paint, and furniture! And yes, the room was spotless! The Mountain View is located in a fairly quiet area and the hibachi restaurant across the street was delicious. I felt safe and slept like a log. Wish I had made the bed I messed up so you could have a better photo of the space.
