It was a basic room with no frills. The bathroom was actually very nice though. It had a lot of room which was perfect for hanging our wet gear after skiing and the shower had nice hardware.

Mount Shasta Resort, hotel in McCloud

This all-season resort in Mount Shasta is located on 126 acres and features an 18-hole golf course. Sacred Mountain Spa, the Highland House Restaurant, and free Wi-Fi are available.

The spot was perfect, right in the middle of a forest and super close to Shasta Lake, so there were plenty of cool walks to take right from the doorstep. The room was clean and neat, and it felt like a great deal for the price. It was just the right kind of place for a laid-back getaway.

The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and like to show you the property and their restoration work. Our room was very comfortable and food is excellent! The building used to be the head office of the logging company and is on the edge of the logging town. Easy to walk to small museum, town streets, restuaruants, and even the US Forest Service ranger station. Good hiking is a short drive away.

The owners are extremely helpful and friendly.

The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. The facility itself is a work in progress but the accommodations are very comfortable. The owners go out of their way to ensure that your stay there is all that you would expect a B&B to be. McCloud itself is a very historical town. We had no problem finding a place t have dinner and the service/food there was awesome. We would definitely go back!

McCloud is a really interesting "ex-company town", wish we had had longer to see it. Good places for dinner within short walk. The Inn also was interesting (including the old safety deposit boxes...it used to double as the bank) and very comfortable with a large room and all the facilities. We were a little disappointed in the breakfast but it was sufficient to keep us going until the evening.

I loved everything about this place!! Such a cute town and b&b. We can’t wait to come back with our family as it grows. Friendly staff. Quaint rooms. SOFT sheets which we loved. Delicious breakfast! All in all such a nice get away. A home away from home.
