We liked staying in a cabin.
We liked staying in a cabin. It was very roomy and we liked the electric fireplace. My daughter liked the loft. It was close enough to the road but still felt remote. No TV, but it had a DVD player?? Shower felt like an RV shower. Breakfast was underwhelming.

Moose pass is a great place to stay if you want to be away...
Moose pass is a great place to stay if you want to be away from the touristy spots. It is pretty and quiet.You will want to get groceries and gas before heading there though, other than a burger place and an expensive convenience store, there isn't much there. It is about 30 minutes to Seward, which was fine for us.

Slept well. My cabin (#3) had too many stairs for me.
Slept well. My cabin (#3) had too many stairs for me. They have at least one cabin w/o if you need it. I recommend you bring food with you or plan on eating down the road a bit. Cabin was pretty rough and basic but met my needs. No WiFi or tv other than DVDs. Coffee was good, small fridge and microwave available.
