Mystic is a great getaway town.
Mystic is a great getaway town. The attractions were excellent. We could easily have spent more time in each of them. Seaport Museum was amazing. The Aquarium was one of the best we've been to. Submarine museum in Groton was well worth visiting. Downtown restaurants were great. Olde Mystik Village was a shoppers paradise. Great place for early autumn long weekend.
We enjoyed our meals at the Mystic Diner excellent food huge portions, Red 36 at the Seaport, Jealous Monk in Olde Mystic Village. Every person we encountered was as pleasant and personable as could be. Food was great. Just a really comfortable interesting happy feeling place.

Mystic was a great getaway spot.
Mystic was a great getaway spot. Everything was very easy to walk to. We rarely even had to start our car during the trip. There were an incredible number of dining options. The views of the harbors were spectacular and easily accessible. We stopped at the Aquarium on the way out of town and that was a fantastic last-minute decision, and well worth the price of admission, if even just for the Beluga whales.
Perfect location, great staff, great breakfast buffet. Love the way they designed the room with a bed area and living room area with a great couch, desk and a coffee bar with sink and mini fridge. Nice carpeting and open floor space. Within walking distance of restaurants, mistick village, and the aquarium. Ample, easy parking and short drive to everything in Mystic. Dog friendly and well maintained grassy area. Pool was also nice, and open until 10pm! We will definitely be back.
The pool was great and we loved the location. It was within walking distance to many locations. We stayed last year and honestly, it seemed to have changed. Last year, there were different people that were affiliated with the hotel. They swam with us and even kept the pool open after hours. It was so nice. The room was much cleaner last year as well. The staff was very nice and accommodating both years. We had a dog and they were great with the accommodations.
Very happy with this hotel! I was skeptical after reading mixed reviews however we needed a two bedroom suite with a kitchen and this definitely delivered! The room needed a bit of updating but it was clean, bed was cozy, and all of the kitchen appliances worked! The staff was honestly SO NICE AND HELPFUL THE ENTIRE VISIT! Also, The breakfast was great, lots of options! I have high standards and this met them, especially for the price!
Location was wonderful. Taber Inn grounds are fabulous. Room was freshly painted and lovely breakfast pack with coffee pastry and fruit delivered to room was much appreciated. Hosts Tom and Joe were very hrlpful, friendly and welcoming and had wonderful suggestions for things to do in Mystic. Overall I highly recommend this Inn and indeed the town of Mystic. Highly recommend to other travellers.
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The main floor spaces were attractive, with high ceilings that provided a sense of peacefulness and elegance. The desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The housekeeping staff ensured that the accommodations were immaculate and that we had everything we needed. This was by far the best value hotel in the area.
The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Check in and out is easy. Call for a great breakfast of fruit and pastries, coffee, tea, juice. This is the second time that we stayed there. It is walking distance from downtown Mystic, great stores, restaurants, and if you are in to maritime museums, you can walk there too.
This boutique hotel is adorable and right in the heart of mystic!
It’s proximity to all the restaurants and shopping is perfect!
We loved the view and the drawbridge right outside our hotel window
Mystic is a great place to visit👍
Hotel was exceptionally clean. Breakfast bar was decent. Either everyone was super quiet or it felt it was a quite, well insulated room. We did not hear any noise. They have coffee/tea bar well stocked at all times. Staff was helpful.
Public areas are cool and comfortable. The location is convenient for the aquarium and Olde Mystic Village. Very high, but super comfortable bed. James Bond villain style chair in the room. Good parking. Friendly and helpful staff.
The location is great. Close to everything in Mystic. My room was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. They have a great breakfast. I would definitely book here again.
Thé room was next door to the recreation room. We heard people all night. Very noisy. No coffee maker or microwave. It was impossible to find the hotel entrance or park it was barracked off.
I liked the easy on and off to I95. I like that everything I planned on doing was very close. The Mystic Diner was in front of the hotel for meals. The pool was clean and not budy.
The hotel was beautiful, the room was exactly what I wanted. First time stay at a hotel with my one year old and he had a great time. Bfast was delicious. I loved all the options.
Clean, comfortable, quiet room. 24hr beverage station and breakfast bagels. Plenty of parking and near to several tourist areas including Mystic Sea Port Museum.
sent email waiting for full refund it was horrid hotel is all black mold heater in room busted toilet busted awful 3 rooms in 2 days left early it was that bad
