Excellent value for the area! Why pay 200 or 300 per night at the other 2 hotels in the city? Bigfoot Musuem and Pinball Musuem are 1 mile away. The Advenute Park, Gem Mining, and miniture golf is a half mile away! Downtown Blue Ridge is 1.9 miles away. Save $200 ( $350 in the Fall) to spend downtown or at the 2 winerys within 3 miles and stay here! Many rooms have been renovated, and we could see others are being worked on. The fire pit/ mountain view is so relaxing. Breakfast had a good variety from hot boiled eggs( not cold), oatmeal, grits, make your own waffles, Sunny D OJ, fruit, fruit cups, yogurt, muffins.
The owner is a veteran and mentioned the upcoming breakfast expansion along with hiking trails as they have 23 acres to explore. Also, there is no carpet in the rooms! A plus for a pet friendly place to stay.
They also have a new 1800sqft event space for rent.
Douglas Inn & Suites is located in Blue Ridge, Georgia and offers an outdoor pool and free WiFi access. Lake Blue Ridge Marina is 5 minutes' drive away.

Everything about the Dogwood Inn was excellent. The very friendly hosts made us a fantastic breakfast every morning. The room was very comfortable, really enjoyed soaking in the 6 foot tub. We will definitely be back

It was very unpleasant. Very old and creepy! We didn't even stay and was charged over 300$, including a clean up fee! Me and my husband literally opened the door, walked around and left! The tub was dirty stained! Not our style of a Love Nest at all!
