Ever stayed. Booking.com showed this property as pet friendly. It was not. So I paid for a night and didn’t get to stay. I guess this is more of a negative review of Booking.com than Holiday Inn Express.

Comfortable; felt right at home. Loved the Charleston Room with 2 twins (can be configured as a king bed as well) and the ensuite bathroom. Our host was friendly and helpful. He and his wife stay on the property in an airstream trailer and come into the house regularly to set up breakfast or to use the kitchen. The washer and dryer work perfectly and the wifi is fast and reliable. The home is in a safe neighborhood and is situated on a quiet side street. It’s a 5 minute walk to eateries along Main Street (recommend The Bistro). Parking is located just to one side of the home (free and convenient). There are three HVAC units keeping the house cool—adjustable for the various zones. Breakfast consists of continental breakfast items only but the refrigerator Is available for guests to use as are all of the amenities and supplies in the kitchen which are plentiful (bring your own protein).

We opted for a hotel outside of Dade City for budgeting reasons...it was a waste of our time and money to attempt to stay at the Quality Inn. It was disgusting. It smelled of mold and mildew and the room looked lived in. We overheard other guests complaining of their rooms too.

My son was tested positive for Covid two days before our stay. There was absolutely no refund or discount for our room. 257 dollars is a lot of money for retirees. I will never use this service again and by word of mouth will relate my story to my families, friends, coworkers, clients and anyone else that will listen. Criminal behavior.

Staff was great and the free breakfast was very nice.
Staff was great and the free breakfast was very nice. The rooms ac worked sporadically so it was too cold or too hot. Walls are paper thin so if you’re looking for a quiet nights sleep this is not the place. Hotel was getting a facelift so plastic over the windows and painting to the exterior all day. Not worth what I paid

additional review concerns the two level - no elevator - without option to be on first floor - we are in our 70s with difficulty climbing stairs carrying luggage for two night stay. request for first floor was denied - however, younger people were in first floor. this could have been fixed. no favorite spots -it in the middle of nowhere. pools was closed and we understand co-vid. but attractions were miles away. we'll avoid booking in places without a cafe option close by and sights to see within a mile.

This is a newer hotel so it is clean and had no off smells.
This is a newer hotel so it is clean and had no off smells. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was typical: waffles, muffins, instant grits, yogurt, juice and coffee. The only issue was that according to Booking.com I reserved a room with two beds and a walk-in or roll-in shower. The first thing the clerk said to me was, "You didn't need a handicap room, did you?" Why yes, I did. That is why I booked it. Unfortunately, the hotel had no such room. We stayed in the room with a "handicap" tub, but it was not what we needed. Be careful of Booking.com descriptions of rooms. Check with hotels directly if you have special needs.
Carol at the desk was friendly, helpful, and brightened the day. She did not mind my husband’s teasing. She kept the floors in the lobby and elevator dry during a rainy stay. Sound from the interstate was not heard inside the motel. Everything was clean and smelled good. Well lit parking lot.
My husband and I had a delightful stay at this Microtel. The staff was so friendlly and helpful, the whole motel seemed to be recently renovated and our room was clean and very comfortable. Finally, my husband enjoyed their breakfast buffet.
Proximity to Florida Classic Park, property very clean and up-to-date, easy to access and parking is ample, despite being close to the highway it was very quiet with windows closed
Loved everything about this motel! Wonderful management and staff, friendly housekeepers, excellant breakfast lady, nice rooms beautiful front lobby. Thank you for a great stay.
