Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston/Canton, MA, hotel in Rockland

Located close to Interstate 93, this Canton hotel features free WiFi, an indoor pool, and rooms equipped with a living area, kitchen, and a flat-screen TV. Blue Hills Ski Area is 1 km away.

The room was very spacious and clean, same with the bathroom and the whole place smelled clean too. I like the layout of the room with the bed tucked in the corner for privacy. I liked the breakfast options that they provide everyday, very hearty enough to carry you past lunchtime. And the staff were all nice and polite.

My room was like a tiny, perfectly appointed apartment. It was cozy and very functional with a huge desk and a TV that swiveled between the bed and seating are (that had a couch). I only stayed one night, but this would be excellent for a longer stay (which I know Residence Inn hotels are designed for!).

    Not the best stay.

Not the best stay. I travel a lot for my daughter’s soccer team and every hotel has been kid friendly and customer first in terms of service and approach and this was 100% the opposite. One of the worst stays I’ve had. I was told one thing for a rate and then they turned around and wouldn’t honor that and the manager refused to honor that word. Then they made me out to feel as though I was in the wrong. To accommodate me, they still charged me and placed me and my 11 year old daughter in a room that smelled like a cigar bar. Terrible service and I won’t be back.

    No restaurant as advertised.

No restaurant as advertised. Bathtub drain not working properly. Breakfast offerings were a poor value. Phone message light blinking with no message. Reported but no correction to problem although a flashing red light all night long was most comforting. Staff in breakfast area consisted of one person who seemed put out with our presence. Overall - we would not stay here until they correct their problems.

This was our first visit to Rockland but definitely not our last! My daughter recently moved to the area. Now that we know about this great property we will stay here whenever we visit from the southwest. The rooms are large and well equipped. Complimentary breakfast & in room coffee makers are always a plus. The staff was cordial & efficient.

First, on arriving my booking under my associates name was not found because they looked under my name even though I explained the room was for my female associate. That left me in a position to tell my female associate she could if all else failed stay with me. Not comfortable but better than being locked out at 10:30AM and no one interested or knowing or no reservation or paying well over $300. Check out is at 11AM. Thanks folks. Not 10:30 AM and you’re locked out..Not happy. Doubt you’ll do the right thing either. Was told breakfast was delightful and room comfortable. Ended up staying at my home the duration. Very skeptical if I would lodge any of my associates there unless desperate in this case even though I’m comped for it.

The location was perfect for visiting family/friends in the area. Rte 3 is very near by. The staff and room was very good. Across the street there was a great pizza/sub place (Dina's Pizza) as well as a middle Eastern food place and another place (Season's Cafe). Seasons was not open for night meals. There is also a classy restaurant nextdoor. There was also a liquor store where I spent too much money (ha-ha). Traffic can be a problem (but isn't it everywhere in eastern MA)?

Wish the staff was more forgiving and the night lady wasn't so mean. The breakfast is terrible. The rooms are mediocre. At least it's clean and facilities are available 24-7.;It's basically what you should expect of something like this.

The hotel was clean and attractive. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bed wss fresh smelling and comfy. But the breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Never had such a delicious free hotel breakfast. Little quiches, servings of potatoes with rosemary and cheese. Real eggs moistly scrambled. A delightful assortment of breads, including iced pound cake, homemade thick cranberry bread and glazed donuts with frosting topped with bacon. Piping hot coffee. Waffles, too.

Best Western is a nice hotel and helped me find a place to stay during my visit to the United States on a controlled budget. It offers the basics of comfortable beds, A/C and TV Cable. The WiFi was also very good and had no issues with using it. The size of the hotel rooms make it very cozy and the location is quite convenient when getting around South Shore. Staff members were helpful in keeping luggage before check-in times are available.

Comfort Inn offers very comfortable accommodations. It is probably my favourite place to stay near areas of Marshfield, Pembroke, Rockland and Hanover. It offers everything a hotel should have and the staff were very nice to communicate with. Comfortable beds, decent WiFi and conveniently close to some shops nearby. I plan to come back here again to continue visiting my friends and family

The DoubleTree Hotel was a nice place to stay during my Holiday in America to visit family. The Design of the Hotel building is very gorgeous and I would have loved to visit this place during the summer due to its swimming pool and gym facilities. The beds were very comfortable and services provided were impressive. The hotel reception even offered me a complimentary cookie 🍪

The hotel was quiet and in good condition, the beds were comfortable and the facilities generally good. It had a guest laundry, which was useful. Breakfast had a hot selection and staff were helpful. We found the location good as it was only 8 minutes to the train into Boston

This is a value proposition hotel. You get excellent value for a fair price, nothing sexy but good for a few nights. If you want/prefer to be pampered, spend more on a different hotel, like the DoubleTree Hilton across the street.
