Small cute town on the beach.

Small cute town on the beach. Has very nice vibe and very interesting historically. A lot of restaurants, very touristic. Lot's to do on the beach. My favorite was horse riding on the white sand beaches!

Port Saint Joe was described to me as Mayberry on the beach.

Port Saint Joe was described to me as Mayberry on the beach. I have to say that the description was accurate. The community is small and friendly. Most of the restaurants are family owned, and they take pride in their meal preparation. The Raw Bar was our favorite spot for breakfast, but all the restaurants we tried were good. The area also feels clean and safe, and a majority of the structure near the beach are brand new. Great little community!

The beach was not convenient to the North Windmark Beach...

The beach was not convenient to the North Windmark Beach house we stayed in. We went over to Mexico Beach because we could park along the highway with a short walk to the beach. We did try loading up the beach carts one day and drove to the Windmark Public Beach Access, but we couldn't actually get the cart to the beach. We did shop at the Piggly Wiggly. We made our own meals for the most part. We ate once at the Uptown Raw Bar in Port St Joe and some of us ate at a Killer Seafood truck in Mexico Beach, one time. Both good choices. A pool, beach boardwalkway, basketball, and playground were among the online amenities shown with our house listing. These were not actually available, yet. Disappointing.
