Sawyer was awesome!
Sawyer was awesome! DO NOT STAY AT THIS Quality Inn in Sawyer. I gave them a good rating, then 2 days after I stayed. I found 2 extra charges on my Credit card. Totalling 65.00 dollars!! Visa made me cut up my card, and now I have to wait 7-10 days for a new one! These ppl are thieves! DO NOT STAY THERE!.. And my roommate, found a long human hair in her bed. Too long to be hers! GROSS!. C. C.

This hotel was a disaster!
This hotel was a disaster! They are in the process of remodeling and in my opinion should close the doors while doing so! The remodel is so extensive that the vending machines are in the parking lot, there are tubes of stuff on the lobby sofa and tools all over the place! The free breakfast was a joke! You get mini muffins or miniature fruit and coffee or orange juice in very small cups! The price was ridiculous for the room! I certainly am not a fan, nor did it seem that many of the other guests were that were checking in! The best part of the stay was the truck stop restaurant across the street, which had great food!

The whole area around Sawyer is wonderful.
The whole area around Sawyer is wonderful. Love Warren Dunes and the other beaches in the area. Restaurants, shops, ice cream stands, etc., up and down the Red Arrow Highway are quaint and food is delicious. Mesa Luna in Sawyer is wonderful--recommend it for the creative menu, superb service, and great cocktails.
