The staff was great, and the area and the main waiting area of the hotel was nice. The rooms were clean for the most part, and the area was quiet overall. There was also a hotel cat outside who was excited to greet people! Breakfast was nicely spread out, and there were complimentary coffees and teas and lemon water in the waiting area as well.

Silver Springs is a must do for people looking for an authentic natural Florida experience. Take a few hours and kayak the river, we used Discovery Kayaks and they were so nice to work with. We had a nice trip on the enclosed glass-bottom boat.
We had a nice trip on the enclosed glass-bottom boat. We were not required to wear a mask (which was nice)... parties were social-distanced on the boats. Beautifully clear water that allowed you to view the vegetation and wildlife on the 30 minute tour. The shops and visitor (education) center are currently closed. It was not very expensive and it was enjoyable for the whole family. We saw fish, turtles, birds, and one 7 foot alligator. We took a hike on the raised boardwalk before we went on the boat trip. I wish we would've had time to take a kayak trip to enjoy the water for a couple hours. We recommend a stop at Silver Springs State Park.BrandonUnited States of America - 6.0Scored 6.0

Stay at the Holiday Express Inn down the street. We spent the 1st nite there and were delighted with the free breakfast and excellent room at a lower price than the OYO , Because of no rooms available for our entire stay we were forced to stay at the OYO Mustang for 2 nites. What a mistake. We had to contact Booking.com to be able to check out 1 day early. We were only there because of the Hurricane. The area itself had plenty of good eating places.
