It is an older building, but very well maintained. The roo.s were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we've seen. We would definitely stay there again.

The continental breakfast was good for me because I chose items that would give a "pick me up" during the day. I generally stay at the Soldotna Inn because of the central location and the cleanliness of the room.

The house is older, but well maintained and very clean. The space is a large 2 bedroom, 2 bath basement apartment that is well appointed, it even has a pool table and a full kitchen. The living room seating was extremely comfortable and well maintained. The hosts provided a lot of self-serve foods, including fresh fruit and fresh muffins. The hosts are extremely nice and very helpful.

The Soldotna Inn is centrally located between Soldotna and Kenai. It is an hour and a half away from Homer and Seward. The Kenai River flows through the city. Excellent restaurants, catering to all incomes, are springing up through Kenai and Soldotna. Nature is right outside your door. The Soldotna Inn is a quiet place to work or just relax. I found an unpretentious room at an excellent price, with a front desk that will aide me in directions, places to eat and things to do. This is the time to experience Soldotna in its growing phase. What else could I want?

My room in August was 83° and NO AIR CONDITIONING, and the temperature outside was only 63° I opened the window, had a fan running around the clock, didn't help. Horrible night sleep. The bed was very hard and sounded like it was going to fall apart when I laid down & I'm not a big person 5'2" and 135lbs. Also right on a major street so I couldn't have the window open at night due to noise.

Soldotna worked well for us because it it @halfway between Seward and Homer and we set up multiple activities in both places. A Mama moose with 2 calves was around the house a few times and we got some great photos. Walking access to nearby Kenai River was as stated with understated local opportunities for trail walking and fishing.

Soldotna is a perfect place to stay.
Soldotna is a perfect place to stay. Right on a location that you can go to Kenai, Homer, Seward for fishing or just relaxing. It's a Good middle destination to go out from here. It also isn't that far to Anchorage. The scenery is beautiful with many lakes, mountains and rivers. There is always wildlife around to see if you just look.
This is a wonderful newly built motel stay! It is absolutely worthy of 5 or more stars. The bed and pillows are THE most comfortable I've ever experienced, and I spend nearly 50+ nights a year at Marriotts around the world, including the JW Marriott. The room is neatly appointed with an uncluttered look, open spaciousness, and tasteful decorating. Smart remote management is minutes away should you need anything. Very well run operation. Highly recommended for those of you needing a stay in the Soldotna area, a mere 5 minutes away.
No breakfast
The location was nice
No TVs in the rooms
I don’t think the owners understand that they can get Roko TVs and don’t have to wait for someone to drill into the walls for each room
I also don’t like the fact that they are raising the prices 200 % in July. Us Alaskans do not appreciate the price gouging because of Dip netting and Tourist season
Liked everything from start to finish. The owners were more than gracious. The bedroom was spotless and private. The location to Saldotna and Kenai could not be better. I cannot say enough about the awesome experience from the breakfast to the hosts. I will stay there anytime I am back to the area.
The room was clean and the staff friendly.
Restaurant and bar on site was convenient and served great food.
The area weather was hot and so were the rooms but not their fault … they provided a fan and it worked out.
I would stay here again next time in Soldotna.
I liked everything. I wish we could have stayed longer. Our hosts made us feel at home immediately. They even invited us to a fun C^W concert. The room was spacious, clean and private. The breakfast was outstanding. We feel that we made new friends in Alaskaf
The bedding and the bathroom were clean and the location in Soldotna was good. Parking was close to our room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating except for the early check-in policy which was presumably beyond their control.
The inside of the hotel was significantly better than the outside. Room was comfortable and spacious. The reception area had a nice lobby and fire. Hotel shares a space with the popular The Catch restaurant.
Arrived early. Staff assisted us by letting us leave luggage at hotel until the room was clean. We were able to check in a little early. Really help us out because we a bit tires from traveling.
Breakfast not applicable. Centralized location between Seward and Homer. Fish camp area and proximity to Kenai River. Furnished outdoor grill area and fire pit with wood provided was great,
This is a great place to stay. You can walk to "downtown" Soldotna! It was clean and the host was available if there were any issues. I would stay here again!
The location was right on the river! The hotel staff was very sweet and accommodating and gave us anything we needed. The coffee in the morning was great!
