Spartanburg was beautiful, however my accommodations were awful. The Suites Inn was disgusting the shower and sink were filthy. The floors were absolutely abominable, I skated on two towels to keep my feet clean. The bed pillows and blankets stunk of smoke so bad. There were batteries hanging out the back of the entry door...I absolutely deserve a refund for this "stay". The refrigerator stunk like something died in it and the microwave had crap on the top inside of it. Absolutely, hands down do NOT recommend staying at this flop house again...DISGUSTING.

We went a few blocks from the hotel and the street was closed off. There were tables and chairs in the street. AWESOME food choices and beverages. We had an enjoyable afternoon enjoying the outdoors. Hotel staff did not even mention this area when asked about local restaurants.

This is a stunningly beautiful town with lots of culture.
This is a stunningly beautiful town with lots of culture. Main Street has 50 bars and restaurants within about a half mile walking distance. Easy access, wide variety of food and drinks, live music playing at lunch, early evening, and late night, amazing musicians, Nu-Way bar, only a few blocks away from downtown is where The Marshall Tucker Band cut their teeth. I watched, met and played with Spartanburg's best musicians. (Thanks, Clay!)
If you play music or love to watch live blues, rock, country, etc, you'll enjoy every single day.
Plenty of sightseeing, and some of the nicest, most accommodating, friendly, and generous people I've ever met in my life.
This place is FLAT gorgeous!

We were travelling and only spending one night here.
We were travelling and only spending one night here. There are a lot of different restaurants right off of the interstate. Everything is very easy to get to. There is a lot of traffic in this area so we actually passed the restaurant we were going to and had to turn around and try again.
It was a nice quite location. I decided to stay somewhere in South Carolina during my Smokey Mountains vacation because I had never been to that state before (or North Carolina) before this trip. On a quest to be in all 50 states in my lifetime, only got 2 left! I wanted to see Spartanburg and I wanted a room with a jacuzzi, because I knew I’d have sore muscles from all my hiking . The hotel served its purpose.
I don’t get a chance to use the pool. I would have if I had more time.
Breakfast had biscuits and gravy, my favorite, I was excited to hear and then when I went to get some I was told she only brings out biscuits twice in the morning and I wasn’t there to get them- so yeah, I am really unhappy that I look for hotels with breakfast and ended up with a continental breakfast. My husband was at breakfast when they came out and he said they were gone as soon as she brought them out.
This was one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The staff were so nice and I didn't experience any issues at all while staying here. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for somewhere to stay for a night or two in town.
The hotel was clean and quiet. Sheets clean, room clean, etc.. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. My son liked the waffles. Coffee was good. It isn't the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton, but for the price, it was excellent.
Great area for walking dogs and it seemed well cared-for. Nice restaurant options and gas station / convenience store all very close at hand. Hotel accommodated my request for a first floor room. Clean, safe.
The lodging and grounds were just gorgeous; hosts have truly exquisite taste. Breakfasts were to die for. People saying in generic hotels a little nearer town are missing out on a very special experience.
Miss Kelly is the embodiment of how people should be treated with respect, kindness and humidity. I want to open a hotel of an even greater platform and strongly petition that she runs it.
I was scared I was going to be murdered. The inside was under construction and there was so much disorganization and trash that it barely looked like a “real” hotel.
The hotel was so clean and the staff was very friendly! My expectations were definitely exceeded, and we will be staying here again when we return to Spartanburg!
Quiet room and good breakfast! Good staff helped at check-in for my colleague. His name was not on the list but the hotel staff tried to find it and got it.
