Although this place has a lot of potential, the truth came down to a reality check as it looked like an abandoned housing where some windows could not be closed, the fridge freezer part missed a hinge on the outside and was not clean on the inside. The microwave had Disco lightning. One of the bathrooms the one downstairs had one of the worst plumbing job I saw ever no mirror there either.., the provided airconditioning had filters that contained dust from years collected. If you travel light make sure you bring a wall plug charger the whole house had no usb charger points, the year is 2024, update pls, as a tip towards the owner put one in the kitchen (As you have no usb charger spots) it only costs 5$ at Walmart mr Owner. (I come from EU/US again travel with min. requirements) regardless if you look good you will find one (usb port) on the second floor at a wall unit main hall way (hidden). The whole house is sure not foreseen, be wary as other stays did have them.(Usb charger ports)The whole setting sure needs a descent cleanup, as the whole house incl. fans kitchen, contain too much dust dust dust, I fixed the dishwasher (leak), I fixed a losen toilet seat, I fixed the pile of dust on an air cleaner filter (inside dust cleaned), I 'fixed' the Mitsubishi airco filter (cleaned), fixed the remote control (unfinished setup), I fixed the bathroom sink geez, a bit.... I cleaned the trasbins in the house, clean please before ppl arrive. All that said I had the time to do it, so should the owner, he should instead have payed me. There is a 'Subway' (external close food place) at walking distance, no pave way (sidewalk) as the walk is increasingly steep!! Had to walk a dark road. Any else good luck taking an Uber or else. The Uber drivers told me quote "what are you doing here?!?" As I told them I was just exploring and passing through this town.

The location, the cleanliness and the staff were great
Situated within 6.1 km of Witch s Dungeon Classic Movie Museum and 12 km of Lake Compounce, PLYMOUTH MOTOR LODGE features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Terryville.
Don’t recommend it.
Parking was very inconvenient across the street and in garage, 2nd floor and had to walk all the way down, across the street and then up the ram. Had to pay extra for parking.
Drama in driving to the front for unloading. There was a one lane circle loop. Cars parks in front gave bottleneck for cars behind. Couldn’t bypass them. Took 20 min to get to the front. Had elderly lady with luggage to walk in.
Room had dirty water coming out of faucet and shower. Didn’t take shower.

Hotel itself very nice - parking garage was dirty and grounds around the hotel were littered with cigarette butts disgusting - was not told in advance that parking was not included in your stay - 12 a day is outrageous, although the hotel being very nice inside I wouldn’t have stayed there if I had known it would cost me an additional 168 just to park in a dirty parking garage
The room smelled like a men's locker room the water turned yellow in the bathroom. No one could ever find a trolly so we had to carry our bags up to the 6th room. The first room we got smelled so bad when I called to get another the question was what did it smell like?! LIKE SERIOUSLY IF I SAY IT STINKS WHY DOSS IT MATTER YOU CHECK IT OUT. FYI you will have to pay for parking upside Starbucks in the hotel! Sheets had so many stains, towels had so many stains. Carpet dirty and disgusting.
nothing the ad was NOTHING what it was when you got to the place. It was a dorm house for college kids. The room was awful looking. Beat up looking furniture, one bed old red looking couch. We had to share a bathroom with the other guest. Which was not told about. Was so upset with the condition of the place left and rented a propert hotel.
Courtyard Waterbury is go to whenever we visit family there. This particular trip had to be cancelled at the last minute. The staff was very helpful in completing that with me and I was EXTREMELY pleased with the final outcome. That being said Courtyard will continue to be our go to each time we visit.
The hotel was close to the highway, There were a few good restaurants and gas stations in the area. The clerk that checked us in was very friendly, and when we found the room that they had for us hadn't been cleaned yet, he was quick to get us a different room.
The hotel and room was very clean, the bed super comfortable. The staff was courteous and willing to please. The restaurant had a nice menu with some tasty items. Easy check in and check out.
loved that my vehicle was secure my whole trip. this facility is clean and the staff were all very polite! it was a very nice visit to Waterbury for us.
