There was a great deal of construction out on the main road. But of course that had nothing to do with the hotel. You just have to be careful leaving and arriving. we ate dinner at a local establishment called pig Ford’s. Whiteville is the typical small southern city built on a large farming community that now struggles to survive as the economy has turned more toward technology and manufacturing. It survives due to its location relevant to several surrounding cities and vacation destinations. People are friendly and definitely appreciate any business you can toss their way.AAnonymous

Even some of the best hotels don’t have freezers. I can tell that this hotel is at least trying to upgrade due to the new air conditioning unit. Very quiet & very much appreciated.
