We left before breakfast but if the door had not been locked I would have grabbed a yogurt for the road.
Great that it was truly a 'walk in' shower.
Check in was great. Manager was effecient and I didn't have to give the credit card again.

Staff was rude. We were charged more than we were told. The room was very dirty. Garbage under the bed. Heater didn’t work.

We travel through Winnemucca to get home, so we try to stay at Candlewood when it's available. We don't use any services. The room was in nice condition and liked the kitchenette too.

Close off the interstate. Had heating. Just needed a place to stay while passing through the state. Had breakfast, waffles, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, and yogurt. Nothing fancy.

Friendly small town, but not a lot to do there other than day trips hiking etc. - not much in the actual town other than casinos. However, if you go there, be sure to go to the Griddle for breakfast or lunch. And, right across the side street is a place called the Ivory Room - it is a Boubon and Wine piano bar that just opened - great place, friendly owner and staff, good booze, fair prices, and live music.

We were there for the Oct 14 annular solar eclipse which we managed to see when the clouds parted, thankfully! The small city/town is not glamorous but we found warm charm in our hotel, the beautiful surrounding mountains, the Humboldt Museum, the very fine county library, and Silver Peak restaurant, Bambu Sushi and Griddle which served tasty food with smiling accommodating servers. Winnemucca may not be a destination city but it will serve you nicely if you need a place to park yourself for the night - or for an eclipse!

We've stayed at Winnemucca Inn several times.
We've stayed at Winnemucca Inn several times. We like that the casino and restaurant is on-site. The rooms are very nice and always clean. We did have to ask for more toilet tissue and our desk lamp didn't work, we also didn't have enough shampoo, conditioner and body wash for four adults but we we like staying there and will be back! We only stayed one night this time which is probably why we weren't asked about no room service or reusing towels. Winnemucca Inn is a great place to stay. Thank you.

This is kind of an oasis in the desert.
This is kind of an oasis in the desert. Ranching, Gambling, rugged and rural but I like that. Lots of authentic food choices along with plenty of places for indie coffee shops. I stayed 1 night and replaced a full set of car tires, People seem honest, friendly and likeable. Ranchers are a bit stand offish but once you get talking to them they are very friendly. Kind of like America in the 70s - has stayed the same which is kind of cool 😀

cool town for those who Gamble and don't want to go to Las vegas. the hotel is getting a little bit older, but kept fairly clean. there was no crime around it that you could see or tell of. the outdoor pool and hot tub was above average. be ready to smell marijuana smoke everywhere you go, which is okay in my eyes. not real good for kids, but I guess a dose of reality is beneficial.

We thought that there were interesting restaurants and small shops nearby that would be fun to explore on a longer stay. We did not try the gambling but it looked like there was a good variety of casinos in the area.
The person at the desk allowed us to check in early at no cost. She was friendly and professional. The room was spotless smelled good and room service did an excellent job. Thanks Wyndham for a great nights sleep My husband and I have not yet had breakfast but we are looking forward to the free waffles coffee and more before we continue out 3 day journey home. We will stay here again if we come through winnemucca
Friendly, kind staff. Very clean, simple room - exactly what we were looking for in an overnight stop across I-80. If all you're looking for is a clean, affordable room, Town House Motel is for you. If you need something fancier than a 1980s-era facility, keep looking. This will be our new go-to whenever we need to stay in Winnemucca.
Room was very clean, relatively quiet, very good HV/AC. smallish but adequate. The management is too Covid paranoid, could not eat the minimal breakfast in the lobby. Time to get over the Scamdemic and enjoy life and fellowship with fellow travelers. I was very surprised to see such paranoia in Winnemucca Nevada
The room was quiet and clean. The hotel was under renovations and the a/c was not working but our room was cool and comfortable. There was no construction noise and the restaurant was good, a bit pricey but excellent food and service
The AC worked well. The breakfast coffee to go was fine. That’s about it.
Winnemucca was a one-night stop over location for us. We will stay at a cheaper hotel next time knowing this hotel no better than any other in town.
The room was very spacious and quiet. The bathroom is large. This was a great value for the money. We have stayed here several times and will return again when we find ourselves needing a room in Winnemucca.
INCREDIBLY CLEAN!!!!! It is the first thing you notice. So this IS a motel NOT a hotel, so plan accordingly 😊 Everything seemed new on the inside of the room. Staff was excellent, very helpful.
It was pet friendly (we were traveling with our dog), the room we were in had been completely renovated since our last stay at this hotel. If you’ve stayed here previously you might be surprised.
We've stayed here a couple times and can say this hotel is good value--big rooms, comfortable bed, quiet, solid internet, good coffee, decent breakfast, next to a supermarket.
It's an old hotel - but very clean, well kept, had all the things we needed ie shampoo, coffee maker etc. Our room was quiet, (except for floors noted below) beds were comfy.
This little hotel has big and spacious rooms.. Its very clean and is in the perfect location.. I couldn't have had a better stay in this great little town of Winnemucca..
Very reasonable pet fee and price. It served its purpose as a cheap place to overnight on our road trip. Not a place to stay long (but neither is Winnemucca)
