Quite seaside town. That has many restaurants and cafes.
Quite seaside town. That has many restaurants and cafes. Also plenty of options for accommodation. Plenty of things to do like swimming, kite surfing and sailboarding. And the white sand dunes are worth visiting for the early morning sunrise, plus a ride on quad bike.

Mui Ne is a quiet place, perfect for the one looking for nature and sea in their original state. Phan Tiet is the kingdom of dragon fruits, there are now many new kinds, yellow, red pulp inside - GMos? There are many new resorts coming up, in Phan Tiet and near by Mui Ne, but there are many things to do to rise the level of the place.

We were close to the very popular foodcourt.
We were close to the very popular foodcourt. The local catholic church could get very busy at times. Local food options were good too. Sunset seafront bars were good but the beach wasn't great here. Nearest ATM was a good 1 km away. Local buses back into Phan Thiet took at least half an hour. You wiil need to take a taxinor Grab from Binh Thuan to connect to the North South railway.

It was a great place when the beaches were still usable.
It was a great place when the beaches were still usable. Now most of the coastline is gone, as are the resorts that still have beach charges or don't allow non-guests to access them. It never really recovered post-covid, which is sad because it has always been a great place to travel, not too far from HCMC.

Great little stop if you are looking to relax from the hustle and bustle of a big trip through Vietnam.
We actually had most of our meals at the Resort restaurant as it was on the beach and the lights and the beach setting at night was amazing.
Food was good, nice mix of Vietnamese and Western.

Knowing it since it was just a fisher village, Mui Ne has developed over the past two decades. Nevertheless you can see the pain Covid has endured on this place, with many restaurants and bars that closed down, empty shops and dirty areas on the streets.
It is definitely a nice weekend getaway out of HCMC, however I am not sure whether it is worth it to stay there for a very long time, as currently the choices are relatively limited. Joes Cafe, Nirvana and Dragon Beach are still operating, but are just ghosts of their former glory. From all the bars available, Joes Cafe is till date one that is nice to visit, with good shisha, reasonable prices for drinks and food. Nevertheless, the live bands are also not what they used to be, but better than nothing.
What is great to know is that the new highway reduce your traveling time to Mui Ne, however i not recommend to drive back on Sundays, as the traffic jams are horrible and your traveling time goes up to 4 hrs + if you are extremely unlucky.
Kitesurfing paradise has it has been claimed by many, i cannot agree with it, as it is good for advanced riders, beginners in my point of view will have an issue due to the strong current.
Nevertheless, its a better option than Ho Tram and also the cheaper option.
I recently stayed at the Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne and I was blown away by the amazing room and facilities. Although the resort is not located in the city center, it is only a 10-minute taxi ride to the nearest beach and center. The resort offers many indoor recreational activities such as bowling and karaoke, as well as free outdoor cinema. The sunset view from the resort is stunning and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxurious and fun getaway.
this property had a quiet elegance to it. the owners were quietly attentive as were the staff. the grounds were immaculate, the breakfast was freshly made and hot every morning, the coffee was strong, the juice freshly squeezed, the croissants were warm and flaky. it was as close to perfect as we’ve experienced.
by far the best accommodation we’ve stayed at over the past two months.
the sunsets were spectacular
the pool was warm
the beach was clean unlike many around them
The resort had all the facilities we expected. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Di has been a great host in helping us providing us information on local attractions and answering most of our questions. Resort had two restaurants, staff in the main restaurant are very friendly but we can't say the same about the restaurant near the beach area (probably due to lack of staff). Kids loved the resort and many activities they could do!
Overall, this resort is super good value for money.
The staff were super, very diligent and helpful. They came back straight away when we asked for help.
Nice and clean beach, two big swimming pools, many nice places to walk around and relax. Really like both of the beach bars, affordable and nice drinks to enjoy with good view.
A lot of options for breakfast with new dishes every day, good Vietnamese dessert options.
Beautiful well-established resort, spacious rooms, all very well-maintained, with very efficient, attentive, friendly, hard-working staff. Breakfast buffet is extensive, excellent Vietnamese and other Asian food (though the Western food is a bit dull). Well-located for restaurants on the main strip, plenty of loungers and two pools (one quiet, without children - great idea!).
The staff is very nice and friendly. We had a trip with the service staff to Phan Thiet. They did bring us to interesting places.
The restaurant Ratinger Löwe belongs to the Resort. There and at Cham Garden Restaurant they offer fine german dishes.
We booked for nine nights. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided spontaneous to stay some more nights.
Best accommodation we have experienced in Vietnam. We were given the front bungalow, closest to the beach. Uninterrupted beach views. Our own private deck chairs. Huge room with excellent bathroom. All the staff from front office to gardening were very kind & helpful. Very highly recommended &we will be back.
Beautifully designed hotel, so cosy and nice! we immediately felt at home. the pool is great and with a direct sea view! the rooms are big and modern, with a lovely touch of style!
the staff was super helpful in arranging tours! would love to come back here and stay for longer! best stay in vietnam!
Breakfast buffet was good, standard fare you get in most Vietnamese resorts. A good mix of local and western options.
The grounds were well kept and beautiful. Both swimming pools are nice and clean. The seaside bungalow was very comfortable and spacious.
gem of a find! I have been touring Vietnam on a motorbike and have stayed in many hotels.
this is by far the nicest. room, staff and facilities all amazing.
in fact it was so nice I tried to stay longer! (but all booked up because of Tết)
very friendly staff, comfortable beds, very clean. cheap scooter rental available. great quiet location away from the busy and loud streets, but still central. cheap drinks available. great place to stay and best value for money.
I have been to many hostels in Europe, few in US, few in Cambodia but this hotel by location, prices, friendlynes of the staff who is hard working and dedicated to their job is the best one.
This resort has a nice beach which is indeed white as the name suggests. The staff is friendly. Location is at the beginning of the strip where u can find many restaurants. Pet friendly
Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel, clean large room with an amazing view. Awesome to just sit by the pool area and just relax and eat. Would absolutely come again!
Amazing place, friendly staff, and one of the best feelings of relaxation we had in Vietnam.
The food on the premises was amazing and the pool very well maintained.
Ancient Northern Vietnamese style resort located in a small alley
Clean and hygiene room
Mr Quang is so super supportive staff
Emerald warm water pool is a big plus
The hotel is located close to the beach and by the main road between Phan Thiet and Mui Né. It is easy to rent a scooter and explore the region at your own pace.
