The cottage is really gorgeous with a wonderful view of the cows in the paddock. Sarah a wonderful host and although we were working for most of the weekend, it was a welcome haven to come back to at night. Loved it!

The owner very kindly let me stay in my room until my driver came to pick me up, free of charge, for a few hours and also extended a bit of the breakfast bar timing for me as well! They were also very prompt in accomodating a late meal for when I arrived (which was delicious and the first time ever having malva pudding!) and also ensured my safety as a lone traveller by repeatedly checking in on me enroute to the the hotel.

The whole community of Curry's Post were very friendly and helpful. If you couldn't find something you needed from them they would refer and direct you to another business that would supply what you needed. It is a few kilometers away from Howick and our favorite place to visit was Piggly Wiggly. The nougat ice cream from Wedgewood was delicious.

Mounts view, mist fascinated me round about 15:00 suddenly clears out, good gravel roads from Linga Lapa. Road from pmb side a lot of potholes and gravel too bumpy.
Visited chocolate heaven very nice though we had stormy weather, proceeded to Linga Lapa for biltong and leather bags, also went to Mandela capture site. I will definitely avoid using pmb curry’s post turn off🥹🥹gravel roads

very quiet peaceful place with great scenery and easy to find. Relaxing place that has friendly staff who are ready to assist. Breakfast is adequate but the range and selection can be improved. For a longer stay it could be boring and monotonous to eat the same selection. The roads have pot holes and travelling can be dangerous, a suggestion is to have dinner and room service meals at the accommodation.

If you want a break from the city then this is the place to go. Enjoy a super breakfast and then travel to the Midlands Meander. There are many lovely country side restaurants. Currys Post B&B is a lovely place to rest and recharge your batteries. Take a book with to read and enjoy the tranquility.

Curry's Post is central to a lot of the places around however, not too close and not to far to most places. There is a gravel road (about 1km) going in and out of Curry's Post. We used our low profile car for travel but it seems the car was okay on the gravel road. A lot of visitors were in 4x4. It was great to have some restaurants nearby such as The Barn Owl and Terbodore Coffee Roastery. We ate at different restaurants in Nottingham Road and other restaurants close to our accommodation and that were close to Nottingham Road.
