The food and service were great. The room was lovely. My only challenge was that the shower was plastic and I slipped and cut my foot open :-(

A picturesque town with many interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Good choice of restaurants, interesting art, mostly within easy walking distance.
Restaurants and shops closing early during the ArtWalk weekend was a disappointment. It seems pointless to offer activities that draw visitors, but then not offer them what they came for.

This quaint town is a treasure trove of antiques, books, friendly locals, and the slow-paced traveler. Horses in the backyards, coffee with delicious baked goods around every corner, and local art and artisan chocolates to keep you wanting to stay even longer.!

Greyton is a very pretty village.
Greyton is a very pretty village. A lot of good accommodation available. Quite a lot of restaurants, cafes / coffee shops. A supermarket, petrol station by and a pharmacy, so more than adequate from C a shopping aspect.
We were there for the annual classical music festival, not the first one we have attended in Greyton, and it was most enjoyable.
Great destination for walks / hikes, mountain biking etc.
Generally a great place to visit !!

Greyton has so much to offer.
Greyton has so much to offer. This time we chose a quiet and peaceful stay, popping into the various little shops and restaurants and 2 leisurely walks around the town were sufficient. I have done the Greyton/ McGregor hike a couple of times in the past which is not easy. AbbeyRose offers great meals and The Post House coffee shop super cappuchino. I can highly recommend Carla for a massage!
The location was excellent, in the middle of Greyton within walking distance of all attractions and eating places. The rooms were a delight, with a combination of charm, cleanliness and everything you wanted. I just loved the fireplace in our room all ready to light up, so naturally I did. The rooms are a very respectable size with enough room to have proper chairs to relax in and read. But the cream on the cake, so to say, is Antonio who runs the establishment with passion, pride and is full of useful information for his guests
Central location in Greyton, walking distance form most restaurants and shops. Small little cottage next to main house, with one bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower. Perfect stay for weekend for 1-2 people, to use as base to explore from. Large garden for guests to use and parking on site. Good quality king size bed, big cupboard for clothing and heaters or fan provided. Small nook in bedroom to make tea/coffee, with fridge and microwave provided. Hosts very friendly and available if needed.
Excellent accomodations in Greyton! An exceptionally homey apartment close to the Saturday market and downtown attractions. Thoughtfully appointed with all the comforts of home. Solar power is appreciated to avoid load shedding. The yard/garden is tranquil and offers spectacular mountain views. Most important, Doug and Beulah were fantastic hosts, and took great care to ensure our wonderful stay.
Spent quality time with my family in a beautiful house and town. De Oude Pastorie feels like home away from home. It is situated in the main road with many little restaurants to explore and a market on each Saturday. I would definitely recommend staying at De Oude Pastorie while you are exploring the lovely Greyton area.
Charming small hotel with lovely gardens, the rooms, linens, pillows and bed very comfortable. It is an older property, funky pool, but had a fun style to it. Loved the small town of Greyton and all the Mt. Bike trails. The location could not be more convenient to the town, bike rental and Saturdays farmers market.
It was the perfect location, serene and peaceful, for a wonderful weekend. We stayed in a beautiful renovated, well equipped farmhouse, Wildevy
Hemelsbreed Farm is in the Overberg, surrounded by the Riviersonderend Mountain range, only 10km from Greyton.

Great location in town, walking distance to everything in the village.
Rooms were not luxurious, but perfectly comfortable and quickly character. Each room with its own decor, and interesting furnishings.
Perfect for a Greyton breakaway!
What a beautiful setting for a peaceful stay in Greyton. Becky is a great and very friendly host, the room is well appointed and has a beautiful view over the garden. Excellent value for money, will definitely come back again.
Great location for the hiking trails in Greyton. Very comfortable lodgings with high quality appliances and kitchen and bathroom essentials. Owner, Tommy, and staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Good vibe all round.
It is in the beautiful town Greyton in the Western Cape. It had all the necessary basic facilities, it was quite cosy in a nice country-like street, the garden and the trees around the house create a relaxing atmosphere.
The interior design and landscaping at Greyton Lodge are beautiful and well curated. The breakfast is also excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was generally good and also worked during loadshedding.
A second time back and will come again. Very cosy and well equipped. Excellent location. We also loved the private and very quiet outside patio to sit and relax. Thanks for n wonderful 3 days in Greyton.
The garden was my mums absolute favourite, they didn’t have a bad word to say, also Greyton is a lovely town apparently, I’m yet to visit myself but me ole mumsy had a wonderful time with the old man.
Beautiful boutique hotel in pittoresque Greyton. Splendid decoration & garden, very clean & comfortable room & bathroom, very nice service and friendly staff, beautiful fresh breakfast!
I loved the peaceful, garden setting. The rooms were stunning and the old world charm of the pub was a highlight. Would highly recommend this exceptional hotel.
