The hosts were wonderful and attentive. The view is exceptional. There is sufficient privacy and space from other huts. The hot tub is definitely a great bonus. We came by taxi from Carlisle, and it wasn't a problem finding the property, so that too is an option if not traveling by your own car.

We loved everything about the property: the cleanliness, the location, the size, and the facilities. Would not have stayed anywhere else, I’m super happy with my choice of staying here during my Lake District trip! Also, the 4G is generally really poor in and around the Lakes but it was absolutely exceptional at this place.

Absolutely amazing house! 12 family members aging from 6 - 84 stayed here. Kids loved the huge, well stocked playroom. Hot tub was out of this world! 7 bedrooms meant 4 couples had their own room, 2 smaller children could go in the bunk room, and the older children had their own rooms too, meaning no falling out! All had their own ensuite. Rooms dotted around the house, so grandparents had a quite bedroom to disappear to! House was exceptionally clean, tidy and well maintained. Private gated drive, plenty big enough for our 3 large cars. We had contact details for the owner and could call at any time if needed.
