Everything! Where do I begin? Firstly, the pictures don't do it justice. It was even nicer in reality, when we arrived. We took my mother in law and it was perfect for 3. The kitchen is really well equipped, comfy sofa. Beds were great and a really good shower. The whole place, while not huge, felt light, airy and spacious. The location was amazing, we were slightly concerned about traffic noise when we arrived, but all the bedroom windows face the back, rather than the road, so it was quiet. It's perfectly situated between the beach and Old Town, so there was plenty to do right on our doorstep. The courtyard garden was great for morning coffees to evening drinks and cards. Check in was a breeze and it was a bonus to get 2 sets of keys. However the highlight was having Maria and Neil as hosts. I never really appreciated the need for good hosts, but they both really set the standard. Responsive, helpful and flexible. I'm sure they were exhausted with all my questions, but they didn't show it! Security deposit was easy to send, I received it back later in the day after checkout and I felt completely reassured that it was safe and fair. Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

Such a lovely place to stay and explore Hastings Old Town with its bars,shops and restaurants without moving our car. Everything was perfect. We slept well in the very comfortable beds and the living areas were spacious and beautifully decorated. The owners were fantastic in replying rapidly to our questions. We would definitely go back.
