Everything was perfect! Honestly couldn't ask for a better place. The horses were very friendly as well as the small dogs and cats which my little one loved. The beds were very comfy and easy to sleep in. The kitchen had everything you would need including milk! The rest of the facilities had everything you needed as well, bubble bath, shampoo, towels etc. The hosts were very friendly and kind and recommended a few places for us to visit whilst on our stay. The area was very calm and quiet which made it easy to relax, the only noises were of the country side which is perfect. It was also very easy to find! 10/10 Would stay again! Highly reccomend!

The water cottage is set on such a beautiful location, quiet and peaceful, yet in the village with lots to do including great walking. The water cottages are also beside the hotel, for food and drink should this be required, although the water cottage has all the facilities available for a truly great self catering break.

The location was great, easy access for day trips to Edinburgh and Loch Lomond. The cottage was clean with most of what you need for a self catering holiday. Easy to find but felt tucked away from the world so was lovely and peaceful.

OMG. Had no idea this was a World Heritage site. Stunning setting with waterfalls and the river. Beautifully restored mill buildings and cottages and so much to see. Excellent shop and cafe adds to the long list of things to do. We ate in the restaurant and the food was fabulous, with attentive staff. Had a twin room which was sparkling clean. Brilliant value for money.

The Waterhouses at New Lanark are not only charming and comfortable cottages ‘hanging’ over the picturesque and fast flowing River Clyde, but are of considerable historic significance thus giving you a touching sense of times gone by as well as providing a practical, cosy, and well equipped home from home.
