Stayed at the Keepers house for a week. Full amenities provided, lots of towels, full kitchen with range cooker, gas stove, microwave, two fridges, clothes washer, games, kids books list goes on and on. This is truly paradise in the country. Keepers House is far from the noise and crowds of the main castle areas. If you are looking for quiet (only sounds you hear are birdsong, water flowing, wind in the trees), peace, tranquility, and dark skies at night(great stargazing) then this is the place! River is right in front of the house. Full of fish if you are a fisherman. Great place to start your day with prayer, meditation, yoga etc on patio in front of house with River right there providing relaxing sounds. Great start to a busy day filled with sightseeing. Great place to return to in the evening for rest and rejuvenation. Loved it will return again!

Stayed in January and despite the freezing temperatures the hot tub was a great addition and was used every day. Communication was the host was quick and easy and the lodge is well equipped. Secure parking with a remote controlled gate is also a big plus and you can easily fit a couple cars on the drive.
