Valentia Island is perhaps one of the most interesting and beautiful places in the country. As such, we were looking for a central and easily accessible place. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She went the extra mile to make sure we felt at home. The facilities, including the kitchen, were clean and the heating kept us cosy. Beautiful comfortable cottage by the sea and almost half way on the island making it easy to get the ferry or just as easy to drive back to the mainland via the bridge. Kate is very welcoming and she checked back with us to make sure we were happy and having a great time. The cottage has lots of information and also a list of important contact numbers if needed. A great spot to do a lot of sight seeing as it was local to a lot of attractions. A fully equipped kitchen so eating in and cooking at home is a great option for those who want to self cater. I would totally recommend stay at Kates Cottage, Adrienne O Brien 26 May 2024
