The location is serene and picturesque, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. But the best thing about Antico Fienile has to be the hosts. They are warm and welcoming and make you feel right at home. Paolo recommended various places for us to go hiking and enjoy the amazing scenery and a few activities like the Strada di Formaggi where we enjoyed trying and buying the great local cheeses. It was 5 days well spent. We recommend Antico Fienile as the perfect place to stay in the Dolomites.

Situated right on the river which is absolutely stunning and very relaxing. It’s also such a great location within easy walking distance to the centre of town, approximately 10-15 mins. It is a steep walk so may be challenging for those with mobility issues. There are also 3 sets of stairs as the house is situated over 3 levels. Beds were super comfortable, house was spotlessly clean, and it was great to have a washing machine. The host was really helpful with advice on key points of interest in the local and surrounding area. It’s important to note that you don’t hear any road noise despite the huge bridge above. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
