The Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful and the brakfast was a dream! It was a variety of fruit, cheese, bacon, different kinds of bread, focacca, cakes, juices and so on and we could take the leftovers with us, so we needed no other food in the evening. Torre Spagnola is situated on a hill very near Matera, but you have space and tranquility around you. Matera is always very busy and crowded, so it's much better to stay outside.

We loved everything about this place. The room was beautiful and spotless. The owners went above and beyond to make.our stay comfortable. They ensured we had a parking very close to the property and took time to explain the city. The restaurants they recommended were amazing. The location was in a quiet neighborhood close to the city center. The bed was comfortable. Although the room didn’t include breakfast, they provided some snacks and coffee in the room which was nice. I highly recommend this place.

The apartment was lovely, very clean and we slept well in the confortable bed. The roof top terrace was magnificent! It was easy to park car near the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and the host very helpful! It was easy to walk anywhere in Matera from this location.

I recommend it for a stay in Matera, I would definitely chose it for next time!

In the evening, Matera is beautifully lit up, the church bells ring. Very idyllic, romantic environment, and very quiet in Sassy. It is well positioned, only a few minutes drive from the city of Matera, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Pasquale is a super host and always available to provide information and advice on what to see and what you can visit in the area. A special mention to the breakfast which surpassed our expectations with locally sourced and home made produce.
